Warning! Spoilers for X Deaths of Wolverine #3 by Marvel Comics

In a stunning cover from superstar artist Christian Ward, Wolverine's new cyborg costume takes center stage. In a brand new look at Marvel Comics' upcoming X Deaths of Wolverine #3, Wolverine's techno-organic armor is on full display, showcasing the future X-Men hero's costume upgrade. While details surrounding the series remain scarce, the cover teases what's to come next in the evolution of Wolverine.

Earlier this year, Marvel Comics teased two new connecting series starring Wolverine from writer Benjamin Percy titled X Lives of Wolverine and X Deaths of Wolverine. Joshua Cassara and Federico Vicentini will provide art on the books, with Adam Kubert providing main covers for both series. The new comics will set the stage for the "Second Krakoan Age" of the X-Men while exploring the past and future of the hero. Percy revealed he's setting out to write "the greatest Wolverine story ever told," with the intertwined stories showcasing the character's past and future adventures. The main storyline will feature Wolverine jumping across time to stop the death of an unnamed vital figure to the history of mutants.

Marvel Comics previously teased the techo-organic costume redesign Wolverine will wear in the X Deaths of Wolverine. The look suggests Wolverine might have become infected by the Transmode Virus courtesy of the Technarchy - although the source of his new look hasn't been revealed. Wolverine's new look is stellar regardless of his new costume's origins as his costume and claws get a cyborg upgrade. On his Twitter account, artist Christian Ward shared his variant cover for the upcoming X Deaths of Wolverine #3, which provides a closer look at Wolverine's new costume.
