Ever since Telltale Games came back from the dead and announced The Wolf Among Us 2, anxious players have been hungry for more information. The company promised an update after The Wolf Among Us 2’s absence from this year’s Game Awards but has mostly been quiet about the game since the teaser was first revealed two years ago. There’s hope, though, that might soon change, and now there’s evidence to suggest that that hope is justified.

The official Telltale Games Twitter account has posted what it calls an “End of 2021 update,” which includes confirmation that more info on The Wolf Among Us 2 is coming early next year. That, unfortunately, is all the update has to say about the title, though it does emphasize that the game was only going into pre-production when it was announced, so perhaps that explains the lack of details on the game’s progress. Telltale Games has teased The Wolf Among Us 2 with a hilarious Indiana Jones gif, but other than that remains tight-lipped.

The update does offer info on some other titles as well. It reminds gamers that Telltale re-released some games to which it still retains the rights, and released the new Shadows mode for Batman: The Telltale Series. It also reiterates the announcement from the 2021 Game Awards of its partnership with Deck Nine on The Expanse: A Telltale Series, which is getting more info in an upcoming issue of Game Informer. So, it’s clear that Telltale is hard at work. Fans of The Wolf Among Us 2, though, have a bit longer to wait for news.
