Today, furniture manufacturer Secretlab unveiled The Witcher Edition of its Titan Evo 2022 gaming chair; the Geralt of Rivia-inspired product is expected to begin shipping early next year. Secretlab designed the chair in partnership with developer CD Projekt Red, though this does not count as the first time the two companies have teamed up. In 2020, Secretlab's Cyberpunk 2077 Edition chair went on sale, the predominantly yellow and black color scheme guaranteeing it stood out amongst similar products on the market.

Secretlab's 2022 Series line of chairs iterates on the overall form factor of previous releases. Notably, some of the changes include the addition of a magnetic memory foam pillow, improved leather materials, and better fabrics. Several of Secretlab's newer gaming chairs have already taken advantage of these enhancements, with the Monster Hunter Edition counting as but one noteworthy example. Pre-orders for the third wave of releases remain live, as Secretlab estimates ship dates that begin in March 2022. The specialty manufacturer similarly opened orders for Flash and Superman-inspired 2022 Series chairs a couple of months ago; each one should start rolling off the assembly line in January. Now another beloved brand is on track to receive the Secretlab treatment.

The Witcher Edition serves as the latest version of Secretlab's Titan Evo 2022 gaming chair. As mentioned above, Secretlab designed the product in collaboration with CD Projekt Red, ensuring each intricate detail does its part to honor The White Wolf, Geralt of Rivia. The core design seems modeled after Geralt's armor; a gray, almost brownish color coats the chair whose side panels bear a light brown patchwork look meant to evoke the leather pieces on Geralt's attire. Of course, an emblem representing the Wolf School's Wolf Medallion rests front and center. Secretlab adorned the back of the seat with images of the Witcher's silver and steel swords. Available in small, regular, and XL sizes, the chair ranges in price from $$469 to $519. Interested Witcher fans can pre-purchase the item now; it's expected to ship on February 2, 2022 or earlier, according to the product listing.

This seems an awesome addition to Secretlab's robust collection of licensed gaming chairs. And its announcement comes at the perfect time, given the newly released season of Netflix's The Witcher series, which is based on the Andrzej Sapkowski short stories and novels.

CD Projekt Red's take on the universe will enter the spotlight once more when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt receives its new-gen upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The studio has yet to specify a due date for the upgrades but plans on releasing them sometime in Q2 of next year.
