Paul Bullion, the actor who plays Lambert on The Witcher season 2, revealed Henry Cavill's wrap gift. After an extended production schedule that saw numerous delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic with new cast member Kristofer Hivju testing positive for the virus, The Witcher season 2 finally wrapped filming a few weeks ago. This was confirmed by a few sources, including a makeup artist and the showrunner herself Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.

Sending gifts to fellow cast members after filming has wrapped is a tradition that Cavill started all the way back on season 1 and he now seems to be continuing it for the sophomore season. Cavill's gift-giving also extends beyond the cast and crew of The Witcher as the actor did the same for each of his DCEU installments. Cavill celebrated the end of filming for both Man Of Steel and Batman V Superman with small commemorative coins for the production crew and then gave gift bags to his Justice League co-stars when filming wrapped. Cavill's gift-giving habits date back pretty far which showcases his longstanding appreciation for all the crew's hard work behind the scenes.

Now, Cavill is at it again thanking the cast and crew of The Witcher for all their hard work on season 2 with commemorative gifts. Based on photos, Cavill's sophomore season gift appears to be the same as the first season, a slick replica of Geralt's Witcher medallion, a White Wolf. Paul Bullion, who is playing a fellow Witcher in season 2, shared a look at the gift up close on Twitter and thanked Cavill with the caption, "Well would you look at that. Geralt tossing a coin to Lambert." Check out Bullion's post below:

In his post, Bullion mentioned "it was quite the experience filming during a pandemic," seemingly alluding to all the challenges they faced during production, which had to be put on pause several times due to actors testing positive and general COVID-enforced lockdowns. A random hamstring injury suffered by Cavill compounded the challenges of filming during the pandemic. All these delays ended up causing The Witcher season 2's production to last much longer than anyone had originally anticipated.

In The Witcher season 2, Bullion plays a character named Lambert, who is known as one of the younger witchers from Kaer Morhen, which is also Geralt's childhood home. It has been highly speculated that Ciri and Geralt will travel there in season 2 where the Princess will be trained as a Witcher. Lambert's appearance in the show suggests he will help train her in the art of combat. Now that filming on season 2 is complete, fans are one step closer to seeing these various storylines come to fruition.
