A fanmade mod for The Witcher 3 reskins Yennefer & Triss as their Netflix adaptation counterparts. Both girls are already immensely popular with fans of the fantasy series, and they're even more popular after viewers were introduced to them in Netflix's The Witcher TV series.

One of the most critically acclaimed games of the last generation, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was a massive success in not just wowing fans of the series, but in bringing plenty of newcomers as well. The Switch port of the game granted even more accessibility to the critically acclaimed game, and the 2019 Netflix adaptation was wildly popular with fans and brought even more newcomers to the series, with a second season on the way. However, the coronavirus pandemic has put a halt on the production of season 2 for the time being, so fans are looking for more Witcher wherever they can get it.

Luckily, there's perhaps nowhere better for fans of the show to turn than the video game series. Now, The Witcher 3 PC players can modify the game to better match the TV show. Modders WitcherSeb and Bububull have created reskinned models that change Yennefer and Triss to their Netflix versions. Though the Triss mod requires the Blood & Wine DLC to be installed, it does contain multiple outfits and the hairstyle from the Anna Shaffer's portrayal. Meanwhile, the Yennefer mod retextures her face to be akin to Anya Chalotra's character, with her distinct, glowing purple eyes still intact.

This isn't the first mod to be put into the game as a homage to the show. Even before the show's release, fans were modding in Henry Cavil's portrayal of Geralt of Rivia. The Henry Cavill mods didn't stop there either. Even outside of the context of the show, comical mods like Geralt having a dad bod and many more can be found on Nexusmods. The amount of mods to experiment with can provide even more enjoyment with the wealth of content present in The Witcher 3.

These mods no doubt show the ever growing popularity of the series as a whole. Though the show's production is put on hold, the series continues to stand tall with fans showing their passion by developing these mods. It goes without saying that The Witcher series is at a better place than it's ever been in its life cycle. So while fans continue to wait for the pandemic to come to its close so that season 2 can resume production, fans can reenact the show in The Witcher 3 by having the two starring girls cosplaying as their TV selves in game.
