Winter House co-stars Lindsay Hubbard and Austen Kroll have unfollowed each other on Instagram. The current season of the new Bravo series shows Lindsay and Austen, who have a history, as some of the closest people in the house. Not only have they been in constant contact since they met three years ago, but they even revealed they had a secret hook-up many years back. With both Lindsay and Austen single, she was hoping for something more than just a friendship.
After Linsday arrived in Vermont a day late, she discovered Austen had already kissed Ciara Miller in the hot tub the night before. While the moment Austen had with Ciara didn't bother her, Lindsay did do everything she could to get Austen's attention. She even told him she was in love with him while in a drunken state. Austen said he only loved her like a sister, a response Lindsay wasn't hoping to hear.
According to the queensofbravo Instagram account, the Summer House and Southern Charm stars no longer follow each other on the social media app. Lindsay and Austen were close friends right before the unfollow, however, things changed after Austen appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen last week, with Lindsay in the audience. During a game of Pick Your Winter Spouse!, Austen was tasked with selecting either Lindsay or Ciara with the questions that followed. Andy's first question for Austen was, "who was the better cuddler," to which he replied Ciara. The host's next question is the one Austen was afraid to answer, which is "who was the better kisser."
However, Austen didn't shy away from answering and said Ciara again. Even though Austen chose Ciara for most of the questions Andy threw at him, he did say Linsday for one. Andy asked Austen, "who is most likely to scare off your friends," and he answered Lindsay. Clearly, Lindsay was not happy with how Austen answered Andy's questions, as they were following each other prior to his WWHL appearance. Shortly after Austen was on the late-night talk show, Lindsay shared her couples Halloween costume on Instagram with Summer House co-star Carl Radke. The pair dressed as Baby and Johnny Castle from Dirty Dancing. The photo sparked romance rumors between the two, however, they maintain they are strictly friends.
Though viewers still may be hoping for a Lindsay and Austen relationship, that seems more unlikely now. Austen may have been a little too honest during his WWHL appearance and has now caused a rift between the two Winter House co-stars.
Winter House airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
