In the winter of 2020, Bravo fans were excited when they heard that Bravo was filming a spinoff of sorts between Summer House and Southern Charm. The premise was placing 12 individuals from both series' (plus a few friends) under one roof and letting them enjoy the winter weather together.
As expected, fights broke out and hookups happened, but there were a few romances that seemed like they were the real deal and going somewhere outside the house. With the series being over, fans are curious to know if the relationships ever amounted to anything outside of a few weeks in a cozy mountain house.
Amanda Batula & Kyle Cooke
Kyle and Amanda are two of the best castmates on both Summer House and Winter House. When they entered the house, they were engaged and riding the wave of their successful cocktail business, Loverboy. They bickered about work during their time on Winter House, and Kyle expressed that it was hard to turn that business side off because they had been working so hard for so many years to get to where they're at now.
After a small breakdown on Kyle's end, the two put business to the side and focused on having a good time together. According to US Weekly, after the show wrapped, the two headed home and got married in September 2021 with their Winter House friends in attendance.
Paige DeSorbo & Andrea Denver
Winter House is a reality show that's basically the same as Summer House, except for the fact that the cast was only in the winter house for a few weeks. Paige was dating Perry on and off for a long time on Summer House but she entered the winter house single and ready to mingle.
Paige was smitten the second that she met Andrea (Andy) and the two became a relaxed couple in the house. However, there were other couples who were at a different level than Paige and Andy, and it upset her. The two had a talk and Andy was honest about not being sure he wanted a relationship outside of the house, though he didn't want to cut ties. The series ended with them being in an open-ended relationship, which is why it was a shocker when the final scene of Winter House showed Paige kissing Craig!
Craig Conover & Natalie Hegnauer
Craig was one of the few castmates who didn't come from Summer House. At the end of Southern Charm's seventh season, Craig was in a newer relationship with a woman named Natalie. Natalie wasn't shown in Winter House often, but Craig was happy.
In Winter House, Craig and Natalie were still together and doing long-distance. Craig told the cameras that he missed Natalie in the beginning but by the end of the trip, he realized how much he enjoyed being by himself. The next thing that was shown at the end of the series was Craig and Paige kissing. The two are now said to be in a relationship, according to Distractify.
Austen Kroll & Ciara Miller
Another Southern Charm alumn, Austen Kroll didn't know what to expect when he entered the winter house, but he was single and ready for a good time. Fans of Southern Charm weren't sure if he was over his last relationship with a fellow unlikable cast member, and even he wasn't sure.
Austen and Summer House's Ciara Miller hit it off from the start and had instant chemistry. Things got a little complicated when their friend Lindsay came to the house and admitted that she loved Austen. However, Austen chose Ciara. Fans were rooting for these two because Ciara let her guard down and Austen was finally in a healthy relationship compared to his last. Alas, at the end of the series, Austen admitted he wasn't ready to do long-distance and wasn't sure if he wanted a serious relationship. The two are now said to just be friends, but Austen told People, "never say never."
Jason Cameron & Lindsay Hubbard
Jason Cameron was a friend of Paige's before entering the winter house, so he wasn't familiar with most of the Summer House cast. However, he fit in just fine and found a spark with Lindsay Hubbard. Once Lindsay realized that she and Austen were never going to be anything more than friends, she quickly moved on to Jason. The two seemed to have a deep connection in the series and both agreed they'd like to see where it took them outside of filming.
According to Distractify, the two dated after filming stopped but it didn't last long. Hollywood Mask noted that it's rumored that Lindsay is now with her Summer House castmate, Carl Radke.
Luke Gulbranson & Gabby Kniery
Luke has had his fair share of flings on Summer House. He and his Summer House castmate, Ciara Miller, were once a couple but that died as soon as he ghosted her. With him being single on Winter House and everyone coupled up, it looked like he was going to hook up with Julia's friend, Gabby.
The two had a lot in common and had deep conversations but the relationship was one-sided. Gabby wanted more from Luke while Luke had his eye on another woman in the house — Julia. In the end, nothing happened between these two aside from a friendship.
Julia McGuire & Her Mystery Man
Julia McGuire wasn't a part of Summer House but she was close friends with Paige and was the one who invited Gabby and Jason to the winter house. Julia roomed with Lindsay in the house and wasn't interested in starting a relationship with anyone because she was already in one. It was said that she was in a relationship with an older man and that she wouldn't disclose his identity. Paige did, however, note that the two are on-and-off a lot. Luke tried shooting his shot with Julia, but she shut him down immediately because of her relationship.
On social media, Julia doesn't show off her relationship often but she still has Instagram pictures of the two up from June.
