This article contains SPOILERS for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood & Honey!The 2023 horror movie Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey brings to life the beloved characters of the classic children’s book, but in a live-action slasher setting that sees a cast of young actors terrorized upon by the feral Pooh and Piglet. Upon Winnie-the-Pooh’s original book entering the public domain, director Rhys Frake-Waterfield elected to adapt the story into a terrifying slasher film. With a micro-budget of fewer than $100,000, the horrifying film has already gone on to earn over $1 million at the box office, meaning audiences can expect even more horror movies based on beloved children’s stories.
A few familiar characters from the Hundred Acre Woods return briefly in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey’s horror twist, but only Pooh Bear, Piglet, and Christopher Robin appear as main figures. Having vowed to never speak again after being forced to abandon their humanity and resort to a feral animalistic state, which included eating Eeyore, Pooh and Piglet exact their revenge on humans by brutally murdering any that come through the Hundred Acre Woods. In addition to the children’s book characters, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey’s cast portrays new figures subject to the bear and pig’s cruelties.
Craig David Dowsett As Pooh Bear
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey’s horrifying adaptation of the beloved children’s story features Craig David Dowsett playing Pooh Bear. However, Pooh Bear isn’t a fuzzy anthropomorphic teddy bear in the movie, as he’s been described as half-human, half-bear by the horror film’s director. In Blood and Honey, Pooh has grown homicidal and feral after being abandoned by young Christopher Robin. The man inside Pooh Bear’s suit is Craig David Dowsett, whose only other acting credits are Sargent in The Area 51 Incident and Roger the Zombie Easter Bunny in the 2023 movie The House That Zombies Built.
Chris Cordell As Piglet
Like his friend Pooh, the deranged Piglet has grown disillusioned with humans and has vowed vengeance against the species after being abandoned by Christopher Robin. Piglet and Pooh take down any human who comes across their path in the Hundred Acre Woods in Blood & Honey’s terrifying adaptation. The anthropomorphic pig is portrayed in the suit by Chris Cordell, who has appeared in several low-budget horror movies like The Area 51 Incident, Toothfairy 5, The Curse of Humpty Dumpty, and Werewolf Cabal.
Nikolai Leon As Christopher Robin
Adult Christopher Robin is terrorized by his former best friends in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey. Christopher returns to the Hundred Acre Woods many years after leaving the area, expecting to happily introduce his fiancée to his old friends. However, Christopher quickly finds himself as the greatest target of Pooh and Piglet’s violent mayhem. The beloved children’s character is played by Nikolai Leon, whose only acting credit before Blood and Honey was in Rhys Frake-Waterfield’s The Killing Tree.
Maria Taylor As Maria
A college student who gathers her friends to take a trip to a cabin as she tries to forget a traumatizing experience with a stalker. Taylor’s acting credits outside the successful box office movie Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey are for the films Mega Lightning, Perfectly Frank, and Dinosaur Prison.
Natasha Rose Mills As Jess
Maria’s spectacled friend who is terrorized by Pooh in the gruesome slasher flick. Before Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, Mills appeared in the 2022 horror movie Return of Krampus and various short films.
Amber Doig-Thorne As Alice
One of Maria’s college friends who visits the Hundred Acre Woods in the 2023 horror movie. Alice is terrorized and kidnapped by Pooh and Piglet, who disgustingly slobber honey into her eyes. Doig-Thorne is best known for her roles in the horror movies Demons at Dawn, Return of Krampus, and Minacious.
Danielle Ronald As Zoe
Maria’s college friend who is attacked by Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey’s pig character in a pool. Ronald has also appeared in the horror movies The Legend of Jill and Jack, The Leprechaun’s Curse, and Curse of Bloody Mary.
Natasha Tosini As Lara
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey’s character Lara is Maria’s college friend who is surprised by Pooh and Piglet while relaxing in a hot tub. Tosini is most notable for her appearances in the YouTube series Quarantine Leap.

Paula Coiz as Mary Robin: Christopher Robin’s fiancée. Coiz has also appeared in horror movies like The Leprechaun’s Curse, Toothfairy 5, and Tooth Fairy Queen of Pain.
Frederick Dallaway as Young Christopher Robin: The younger version of Christopher Robin who once shared a loving relationship with the animals. Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey is Dallaway’s first professional acting role.
May Kelly as Tina: Maria’s friend who is chased by Pooh into an abandoned factory on her way to the cabin. Aside from being cast in the goofy horror film Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, Kelly is best known for her roles in horror movies Easter, Looking, Curse of Humpty Dumpty 2, and The Killing Tree.
Richard D. Myers as Logan: The truck passenger using a crowbar against Pooh. Myers also appeared in the horror movies Vampire Virus, The Candy Witch, and Scarecrow's Revenge.
Simon Ellis as Tucker: The bat-carrying and flannel-wearing local taking on Pooh. In addition to numerous short films, Ellis has been seen in Cursed, The Killing Tree, and Medusa’s Venom.
Jase Rivers as John: The sledgehammer-wielding local who tries to battle Pooh. Rivers’ other acting credits include roles in Year of the Rabbit and the short film The Watchmaker.
Marcus Massey as Colt: The car passenger using a bottle as his weapon. Massey has been seen in other horror movies such as Bunny the Killer Thing and The Killing Tree.
Danielle Scott as Charlene: A hostage of the non-Disney Pooh and Piglet whose husband was already killed by the mass-murdering animals. The Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey cast member also appeared in The Curse of Humpty Dumpty and Toothfairy 5.
