The stars of Will & Grace, one of many sitcoms from the 90s that returned with a sequel series more than a decade after it first ended, have become household names in both televisions and movies. The lead actors took home plenty of awards for their roles in the hilarious series. Eric McCormack, who played Will Truman, earned four Emmy nominations and one win for the role, and Karen Walker garnered an impressive eight Emmy nominations and two wins.

It didn't end with just the main characters, either; supporting characters also have massively successful careers, like Harry Connick Jr., who is, of course, a talented musician, and Bobby Cannavale, who has been in some of the biggest series and movies of the twenty-first century, from Mr. Robot to The Irishman. The cast has all gone on to continued success, but each has a career-defining or particularly memorable role.

Eric McCormack (Will Truman): Travelers

This Canadian actor's biggest role since Will and Grace has been as the lead in the Netflix series Travelers, a character called Grant MacLaren. The post-apocalyptic sci-fi series, which lasted three seasons, is about special operatives known as travelers who send their consciousness back to host bodies in the present-day to help prevent their deaths and the future end of civilization.

He can also be seen as Dr. Daniel Pierce in the crime drama Perception, and fans might recall him as the boyfriend of Julia Louis-Dreyfus' character in the mid-2000s series The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Debra Messing (Grace Adler): The Mysteries of Laura

While Messing has appeared in many other movies and TV series since her role on Will & Grace, she might be best known for playing homicide detective Laura Diamond on the NBC police procedural The Mysteries of Laura from 2014 to 2016.

Prior to Will & Grace, she starred in the short-lived series Ned and Stacey. Other roles fans might recognize her from include the TV miniseries The Starter Wife, the NBC musical drama Smash, and movies like Along Came Polly and The Wedding Date.

Debra Messing (Grace Adler): The Starter Wife

Messing starred as Molly Kagan, the ex-wife of a Hollywood film mogul, in the TV miniseries The Starter Wife, earning her a pair of Golden Globes for the role along with an Emmy nomination and Screen Actors Guild Award nomination.

The miniseries, dubbed a romantic comedy, was based on the Gigi Levangie Grazer novel of the same name. It aired for a single season of 10 episodes and followed Molly's journey navigating life as a single mother.

Megan Mullally (Karen Walker): Bob's Burgers

Mullally's real speaking voice is nothing like the high-pitched voice she used for the role of Karen Walker, but her voice can be heard in a number of movie and TV series roles, including the popular adult animated series Bob's Burgers. In 2012, she played the recurring role of Aunt Gayle, reprising it in several episodes. She also voices other minor roles on the series.

Megan Mullally (Karen Walker): Parks And Recreation

Mullally had a hilarious role in the series Parks and Recreation, interestingly playing the ex-wife to the character of Ron Swanson, who is played by her real-life husband Nick Offerman. Her character was Tammy Swanson, and she appeared in several episodes as Swanson's second ex-wife. Like her character, Karen, Tammy was manipulative and used sex to get what she wanted.

Sean Hayes (Jack McFarland): Tangled: The Series

Along with acting, Hayes also runs his own television production company, which is behind such hit shows as Hot In Cleveland and Hollywood Game Night. But, in terms of acting, his resume is long, including roles both before, during, and after Will & Grace.

One such role is voicing a character on the Disney series Tangled: The Series, which stars Mandy Moore as the title character, as well as other well-known actors like Zachary Levi, Jeffrey Tambor, and Julie Bowen. He provides the voice of the character Pete, one of the two members of the Royal Guard of Corona.

Sean Hayes (Jack McFarland): The Millers

This sitcom lasted two seasons from 2013 through to 2015, and, in the second season, Hayes starred as Kip Finkle. The series starred Will Arnett as Nathan Miller, a TV news reporter whose mother, played by Margo Martindale, moves in with him following an abrupt divorce after 43 years of marriage.

Beau Bridges plays Nathan's father and Jayma Mays his sister. Kip's character is the best friend of Nathan's mother, Carol Miller, Martindale's character.

Harry Connick Jr. (Leo Markus): American Idol

While Connick Jr. already had an established and successful music career prior to taking on the role of Grace's boyfriend and eventual husband in the later seasons of the series, he continued to take on acting roles after the show ended and returned in the revived version for a surprise appearance.

But, interestingly enough, Connick Jr.'s most notable role was one of many celebrities who served as a judge on the long-running reality singing competition series American Idol. He appeared in the 13th to 15th seasons from 2014-2015 as a judge alongside Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban.

Bobby Cannavale (Vince D'Angelo): Homecoming

As noted, Cannavale, a talented and versatile actor, has appeared in a variety of television and film projects, both before and after his role as a police officer and Will Truman's long-time serious boyfriend Vince on the series.

One of the most notable roles was in both seasons of Amazon Prime Video original series Homecoming where he played the head of a sinister organization running psychological experiments on ex-military veterans under the guise of helping them reintegrate back into society. He appeared opposite Julia Roberts in season one and alongside Janelle Monae in season two.

Bobby Cannavale (Vince D'Angelo): Mr. Robot

Cannavale collaborated with writer and executive producer Sam Esmail a second time in Mr. Robot, the mind-bending drama-thriller about a skilled and socially anxious hacker who works with an anarchist to try and take down maligned organizations, most notably a media conglomerate known as E Corp.

Cannavale's role is, once again, that of a "bad guy." He played Irving, a used car salesman who, it is discovered, actually works for the Dark Army as a "fixer." He appeared in the third season of the series and returned as a guest star in the fourth.
