The edutainment and environmentally-conscious animated series Wild Kratts is poised to return to the airwaves this coming July. Created by brothers Chris and Martin Kratt, the show revolves around the eponymous superhero brothers who use their technologically advanced "Creature Power" suits to defeat a gang of greedy land developers who destroy natural habitats and endanger innocent animals.

Among the six seasons and 153 episodes to date, there have been six primary villains to challenge the Kratt brothers for supremacy. While some work in tandem with the others, they all have various powers and unique superhuman abilities to help them defeat the Wild Kratts.

Rex

Rex smiles while wearing a hard hat in Wild Kratts

By far the weakest villain in Wild Kratts to date is Rex, the overly-chipper and way-too polite construction worker who happens to be Paisley Paver's obedient intern. With bubbly enthusiasm and a constant smile plastered on his face, Rex loves pavement and is willing to do anything Paisley says.

As such, Rex's powers are quite limited. He is moderately adept at using the technology and heavy machinery owned by his employers, Pave Nature Incorporated; but beyond that, his biggest strength is remaining loyal to Paisley's evil agenda to turn natural sites into parking lots.

Dabio

While Dabio's primary power is derived from his brute strength, his dim-witted intelligence takes him down a peg or two. As the official muscle and bodyguard of Donita Donata, Dabio is a low-level worker bee who answers to his superiors without wielding many superpowers.

Despite his extremely muscular physique, Dabio is an awkward and uncoordinated henchman who often knocks things over, makes a mess, and fails to complete his simple tasks. However, Dabio does possess enough raw power to fight off enemies, protect Donita from physical harm, and carry heavy objects for clearing land.

Mannequin Robots

With a single-minded focus to destroy its target, the Mannequin Robots in Wild Kratts work directly for Donita Donata. The tall robotic automatons with woodlike appearances have ball joints that allow them to move their appendages with great dexterity.

The Mannequin Robots also possess the power to use Donita's Pose Beam Generator to integrate innocent animals into Donita's fashion trends. Moreover, the robots can also fly or float using jets tucked under their feet and have the ability to be put back together, unlike the Zachbots. However, the Mannequin Robots tend to be clumsy and often crash into walls after missing their target.

Paisley Paver

As the dastardly CEO of Pave Nature Incorporated, Paisley Paver lives by the credo that the world would be a better place with more factories and parking lot structures. To achieve this goal, Paver dispatches her loyal lapdog and intern Rex to increase deforestation and build more.

Other than her trusty minion Rex and a bossy, impatient demeanor, Paisley hasn't many natural powers or technological gadgets to help her achieve her goal. However, as the CEO of a major corporation, her influence and intelligence remains superior.

Gaston Gourmand

Gourmand grins maniacally in Wild Kratts

Continuing with Gaston Gourmand, the separation of powers among the Wild Kratts villains is drastically increased from here on out. Gourmand is a French gourmet chef who makes signature dishes out of endangered animals. To keep his menu updated, Gourmand uses a number of skills and powers.

While less technologically dependent, Gourmand invented his trademark weapon, The Dough Blaster, a device that fires sticky dough balls at his enemies. Gourmand also uses cooking utensils and various kitchen items as weapons and has an extra-powerful sense of smell that he uses to find rare ingredients. Gourmand is also equipped with superhuman strength, agility, jumping, and climbing skills.

Zachbots

As the evil Zach Varmitech's chief robotic sidekicks, the Zachbots possess tremendous power in Wild Kratts. In addition to their threatening posture and glowing red eyes, Zachbots can extend their arms to infinity, camouflage themselves to appear as human beings, and lift the heaviest animals on the planet without much effort.

In addition to superhuman strength, Zachbots are also extremely fast and have been programmed to spy on enemies using a stealth mode. When they aren't collecting animals on Zach's behalf, his bots physically protect him from harm. However, given their extensive powers, Zachbots also have a large number of weaknesses.

Donita Donata

As the power-hungry designer who intends to use innocent animals for her trendy new fashion line, Donita Donata ranks among the two most powerful Wild Kratts villains to date. In addition to lording dominion over her sidekick Dabio and the Mannequin Robots, Donita has a slew of powers.

Donita uses her trademark Pose Beam weapon to lift animals into the air via suspended animation before deciding their fates. She also possesses a technologically upgraded limo, yacht, and private jet which she uses to hack into the Kratt's computer systems. Donita can also neutralize Kratt's Power Suits by using her custom-made Color Infusion Wand. Donita also controls the Deactivator, a robotic device that can shoot destructor beams to incapacitate the Power Suits.

Zach Varmitech

Zach holds wrench in Wild Kratts

The aforementioned Zach Varmitech is by far the most powerful villain in Wild Kratts. The wealthy, arrogant, and self-centered robot engineer uses a spate of powerful technological gadgets to capture animals against their will and use them for his own financial gain.

In addition to his signature Zachbots, Varmitech's arsenal includes the self-explanatory Visibility Cloak and Mind-Control Helmets. He also has Disrupt-o-bots at his disposal, which are tiny spy-bots that can hack into any system. Varmitech also created a mind-controlled Jaguar Bot, flying Mosquito Bots, a Panda Stuffo Bot, and Mechanical Mantis Arms. The coolest of Zach's powerful technology includes the fish-catching Mako-Me-Rich 2000 device, the Gila Monster Power Wrenches (pictured), and the upgraded all-terrain vehicle called ZTV.
