Lydia Wants To Hang Out With Max
Fans aren't pleased that Lydia is still interested in being friends with Max, especially because Moriah has made it clear that the idea makes her uncomfortable. Although Lydia doesn't have as much life experience as Moriah, Max, or the rest of her older siblings, Welcome to Plathville viewers say that Lydia has no excuse for crossing Moriah's boundaries. "Duh, Lydia! Not cool to hang out with the ex of your sister!" one user stated, while another described the 18-year-old as, "not socially mature and experienced enough to see other people's perspectives."
Lydia Forgave Max For Cheating On Moriah
During one conversation with Lydia during the recent Welcome to Plathville season 4 episode, Moriah explained that she had chosen not to forgive Max because he cheated and then blamed their relationship's demise on her. In response, Lydia admitted that she forgave Max for his transgression, and that is part of the reason why she stays in contact with him. Fans aren't buying this, however, and think that Lydia is inappropriately getting in the middle of Max and Moriah's former relationship. While fans of the show are equally angry at Max and think that he is using Lydia to get at his ex-girlfriend, several Redditors hypothesized that Lydia is forcing her demeanor. A few also compared Lydia to her mother Kim Plath, who just asked for a divorce from the Plath patriarch, Barry. "[Lydia] always seems pretentious and disconnected from herself even.
