Travis Barker from The Kardashians is a stepfather to Kourtney Kardashian's three kids, but he may not have a perfect relationship with Kourtney's son, Mason Disick. From the looks of it, Penelope and Reign Disick have embraced Travis' role in their lives. Since he is the first man to play this part, it's a big change for the Disick kids. However, Travis appears dedicated to being present as a parent to his three kids, and his stepchildren.

A lot changed when Travis came into the picture. For years, the Disick kids knew the Blink-182 drummer as a neighbor and close friend of Kourtney's. When Travis and Kourtney started dating, he began spending more time with the family, and Scott Disick had a hard time accepting the new dynamic. Scott has opened up about his bitterness over Kourtney dating Travis, and feeling left out of the Kar-Jenner family. Insiders say that the Disick kids believed they were caught in the middle, between their parents, due to Scott's resentment towards Kourtney and Travis.

However, over the last year, fans have gotten the chance to see how well Travis gets along with Kourtney's two youngest kids: Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7. With Mason being the oldest of the bunch at 12 years of age, and a middle schooler, he may be having a harder time accepting his new stepdad. On Father's Day, Travis shared the handwritten Father's Day cards he received from Penelope and Reign. "You are so so nice and kind," Penelope wrote on the card, captured by People. "You are so amazing you are the beast. You are the beast drummer ever," she added. She also noted how "happy" Travis makes her mom, Kourtney. "Happy Fathers Day. Love Penelope," she wrote. The card included eight hand-drawn hearts at the bottom, along with the word, "family." The eight hearts likely stood for Kourtney, Travis, and their blended family of six children.

In a separate card, which Travis received from Reign, Kourtney's youngest son wrote, "Dear Travis, Happy Father's Day." The Father's Day cards were sweet gestures from the youngest Disick kids, but highlighted that one missing card from Mason. Since he's the oldest child, he's very close to his father, Scott, and may share some of his dad's resentment about Kourtney being with Travis. The Disick kids were present for Kravis' lavish wedding in Portofino, Italy. Afterwards, the kids jetted back to Los Angeles to be with their dad, while the Barker kids stayed in Italy, and toured the city with Kourtney and Travis.

Travis' kids are teenagers, and sources say they had an easy time embracing Kourtney as their stepmom. However, Kourtney's kids are much younger, and their loyalty to Scott may mean that they can sense their father's dislike of the new family dynamic. Hopefully, Scott comes around to accepting Travis' role in his kids' lives. The Kardashians fans are looking forward to seeing Kourtney and Scott return to being friendly co-parenting partners.
