Over the years, the Sister Wives stars have drifted apart and have started to call one another out for being lazy in the homestead. Meri, Christine, Janelle, and Robyn Brown never all got along, as usually, one was at least on the outs with another one in the group. TLC fans are now pointing out all the times they were shady.
Some Sister Wives viewers recently took to Reddit to share their views on the wives' work ethics. U/AmyCalligrapher8723 noted that for years the large polygamous family has enjoyed calling one another unmotivated in hopes of putting them down. The attacks didn't just center around a dirty home but also some failing relationships. U/ajaner28 thought the use of the term wasn't a "coincidence." Some viewers feel that "lazy" is a go-to word for Kody in hopes of keeping his wives under control.
Each Sister Wives Star Has A Trigger Word
Each of the wives seems to have their own trigger word. Kody often called Christine a "princess" because she was so sensitive. Meri is often referred to as the "victim," especially after she was caught in a catfishing scandal. Kody used the word "Teflon" to describe Janelle because she often comes across as emotionless. Kody often dotes on Robyn, even telling her at one point that she was "too pretty to cook." Robyn is the only wife who has not been called lazy.
Kody has always taken good care of his health and looks, with viewers recognizing that the term "lazy" doesn't just mean forgetting to do household chores. Kody also uses the term to indirectly talk about his larger wives. Many fans feel that Kody and Robyn use the word in a way that they hope will classify them as superior to the other wives. The idea is that there is another connotation to the use of the word. However, Robyn uses it herself to attack her fellow Sister Wives. In the latest episode, Robyn mentioned "lazy" in her confessional as she tried to explain how hard it was to maintain a good polygamous relationship. Kody's fourth wife all but insinuated that she was better at plural marriage when she said, "'cause you can't be lazy about it."
While, at times, Meri, Janelle, and Christine could all be considered lazy, Sister Wives fans also know that there is evidence to prove that Robyn is also lazy. Kody's favorite wife does not work outside the family home, isn't filmed cooking, and has a nanny to help with the children. For now, it looks like the family will continue to use the word "lazy" as a put-down with no end in sight.
