Kody Brown isn't exactly winning over Sister Wives fans, especially after he has exhibited signs that he suffers from a Napoleon complex. The often bossy family patriarch loves the sound of his own voice and telling his family what to do. He has shown off his controlling side multiple times, leaving fans questioning what is wrong with the star.

For over ten years, Kody, who's been compared with Jim Bob Duggar, has been called numerous names due to his ostentatious personality and inability to let those around him have ideas. Fans first met the Utah native when he introduced himself and his four wives (Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn Brown) to TLC viewers. The Brown family seemed happy enough, as each woman doted on her handsome husband, ignoring the notion that she had to share a spouse. However, over the years, Kody has grown grumpier, and made sure that his family knows it is his way or the highway.

Kody often comes across as a dictator when dealing with his family. With this mindset, it isn't hard to feel like the father of 18 may be suffering from a Napoleon complex. A man like the insensitive Kody who has this complex will usually exhibit a domineering or aggressive attitude which is often perceived as a form of overcompensation for being smaller. While Kody is above average in height, measuring 5'11" it, he could act out because he feels small within his family and lacks control.

There was a moment when Kody was trying to sell the idea of moving to Arizona to his family, sharing, "there comes a time when you have to buck up and lead." However, many would argue that he led his family right off a financial cliff since they lost money on their four homes. Kody's internal issues are starting to mimic the French military leader Napoleon Bonaparte's devastating defeat at Waterloo. Back in June of 1815, Napoleon had conquered much of Europe, but he let his power go to his head. At times, Kody acts like the one true leader of his family, even when his wives don't agree with his strategic decisions.

To many Sister Wives followers, it feels like the Browns are imploding from the inside out, and the only one to blame is Kody. Thanks to his poor leadership skills, the Browns have found themselves in unchartered waters. Kody's Napoleon complex has only hurt his wives and children and, in reality, started to tear the polygamous family apart. Hopefully, Kody can start to learn from his mistakes or risk an even bigger disaster.
