Many viewers would know that Too Hot to Handle was shot last year between March and April. It has been a year since then, and obviously, contestants' lives have changed a lot after that. A couple who left hand in hand is now engaged, but another one called it quits during the reunion episode. Sharon and Rhonda were the most promising pair of this dating series. They had everything one can ask for in a relationship that is trust, two mature partners, and steamy chemistry. However, they still couldn’t make it work, which reminds us that all good things come to an end.
This extremely attractive pair walked into the villa with the mindset of a hook-up. However, with the help of Lana’s rules, and a variety of workshops, they soon were able to develop a deep and lasting connection with each other. Sharron went on to say that Rhonda came as a blessing in his life. He was able to conquer his fear of betrayal and then fall for the 27-year-old model with his whole heart. Rhonda seemed so confident about Sharron that she even let him FaceTime with her 2-year-old son, Amare, which she could have never done if this was just a fling. The audience witnessed them planning a future together.
However, according to their media interviews, it’s true that they never got a chance to see each other in person after THTH finished filming. Rhonda is based in Atlanta, whereas Sharron lives in New Jersey, and long-distance took its toll on their courtship. They both got busy with their lives and just couldn’t make it work. The couple did plan a visit a while back, but then this coronavirus pandemic happened. During their intiatl interviews, they said that they are 'trying to figure out' a way to be with each other. In the reunion episode on Netflix, Sharron said that they are not an official couple anymore. However, he will have her very to his heart. Rhonda was extremely emotional about this separation and couldn’t hold back her tears. Maybe, she felt a sudden rush of emotions at that time, but it is confirmed that this popular influencer has moved on, and apparently, is back with one of her former boyfriends.
Fortunately, another smitten couple, Harry and Francesca are not only together, but happily engaged. Harry popped the question in front of the whole world with a ring pop in his hand and his Canadian lover said, “Yes, Of course” in a heartbeat. We wish them all the happiness in the world, and at the same time, hope that we might be able to see SharRhonda again in the future because the spark between them is still quite visible.
