Even though The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Sutton Stracke and Erika Jayne are playing nice with one another, fans know that it won't lead to a solid, long-lasting friendship. The two have had their fair share of squabbles over the years. Fans believed that the Georgia peaches could find common ground over some sweet tea, but a true connection never formed.

Even though RHOBH fans thought that Erika and Sutton were about to turn over a new leaf on their journey to sisterhood, Sutton doesn't want fans mistaking their chit-chat for a true friendship. During a recent episode, viewers watched as Sutton welcomed the "Pretty Mess" singer into her home for a Popeyes meal, as per Bravo. The two share a love for the fast-food chain, and Sutton made sure to "make it nice" with fine china. Erika expressed hope for the future, noting that she had to move on from her issues with the women. However, Sutton wasn't so quick to forgive.

During the RHOBH episode, Sutton spoke out during her confessional, noting that she couldn't let go of how Erika had treated her in the past. Fans will recall that Erika threatened Sutton during a dinner event at Kathy Hilton's house last season, after the mother of two spoke out about the singer's legal issues. It seems like Sutton can't move past the name Erika called her. Sutton also shared that while she sometimes enjoys Erika's company because she is funny, the two are not friends, and "never will be."

The revelation hit viewers hard, as many believed that the two Beverly Hills women were working well together. However, Sutton's reluctance is understandable. Last season, Erika made Sutton's life a living hell, and this season, when Diana Jenkins mocked Sutton, Erika did not defend her. Sutton has had a hard time not inserting her own foot into her mouth, but viewers don't think she's malicious. The blonde is often used as a scapegoat, and picked on by the bullies of the group.

The end of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is showing both women in good places in their lives. Sutton is still dating the man she met on the app, while some of Erika's legal issues have been resolved. Even though Bravo followers may have been hoping that the two women would work out their differences, it looks like both females are very comfortable being "frenemies," rather than best friends.
