Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's surprise wedding in Las Vegas was reportedly a "gut punch" to The Kardashians star Scott Disick. While most of their family, friends, and exes have been in support of their romance, Scott is still struggling to accept the fact that Kourtney is madly in love with someone else. Considering how many times Scott proposed in the past, seeing Kourtney accept Travis' proposal hasn't been easy for him to handle. However, after learning of Kourtney and Travis' impromptu Elvis-themed wedding, Scott is hurt and reminded of a time he and Kourtney almost got married in Sin City.

Despite how long Kourtney and Scott had been broken up and co-parenting by the time she started dating Travis, the Talentless founder still took their relationship hard. Scott has been linked to countless young women since his 2015 split from Kourtney. However, once she found someone she was compatible with, Scott became jealous over the reality that Kourtney was no longer his. Scott's bitter feelings were revealed after he sent a DM to Kourtney's ex Younes Bendjima bad-mouthing Kourtney and Travis's PDA in Italy. Since Kourtney and Travis's engagement, insiders say Scott is still adjusting to the idea of them getting married.

If Scott was already having a hard time accepting Kourtney's engagement, finding out she got married in Las Vegas didn't make the heartbreak any better. Insiders say the seemingly shotgun wedding came as a "gut punch" to Scott because of the former couple's history in Las Vegas. "Kourtney almost married Scott in Vegas years ago and Kris was able to deter them from doing it,” a source told HollywoodLife. “They almost got married there and Kourtney knows this." Kourtney has confirmed that her recent wedding wasn't legal even though she and Travis tried. There was no way to get a marriage certificate at that time of day when the celebrity couple decided to make their love official.

Kourtney said they still went through with it as "practice" for the real wedding ceremony they're planning with friends and family. "It was a reality check and an eye-opener for Scott," the source revealed. The father of three has already been trying to adjust to the fact his kids will have Travis as a stepfather. "But to find out they went through with a ceremony, in Vegas of all places — he felt crushed," the source explained. Seeing Kourtney marry Travis so last minute isn't easy for Scott to handle. He reportedly "wishes he would have done everything differently, but it is too late to cry over spilled milk," the source added. It was during a 2007 family trip to Las Vegas when Kourtney almost wed Scott at A Little White Chapel in Vegas. At the time, Kourtney knew the wedding would be "rushed," but she was open to it. However, her mother talked some sense into her eldest daughter, and the former couple didn't go through with the wedding.

By 2013, Scott was talking about marriage once again but felt like he wanted to overcome his personal demons and treat his addiction issues before committing to marriage. During the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Scott asked Kourtney to marry him "right here, right now" during a family dinner with her sisters. However, Kourtney wouldn't give him an answer. “Kourtney knows that eventually we’ll get married and live a good life," Scott said at the time. When putting everything into perspective, it makes sense why Scott has kept his distance since Kourtney started dating Travis. However, it still doesn't explain why The Kardashians star decided to date so many different women instead of fighting to win Kourtney back after their breakup. Now Travis is drinking up Scott's "spilled milk" and is clearly enjoying every sip.
