Kody Brown has a mutiny on his hands with Sister Wives followers thinking his second wife, Janelle Brown, may be the next to leave him. The father of 18 has not been able to keep all four wives happy during their marriages. With the door open, Janelle could be looking to make some changes.
For years, many sources close to the Brown family have reportedly claimed that Janelle would never leave Kody, even though her closest ally, Christine, did. As a recent episode shared, Janelle and Kody's relationship is comfortable. While she may not be getting all the intimacy she would like, Janelle shared with fans that she was "fine" with the way their marriage was. Janelle also shared that her partnership was "adequate," leaving viewers to wonder what Janelle is getting out of her marriage to Kody. As Sister Wives fans are aware, Janelle is extremely secure within herself and has been getting along in life just fine with Kody at arm's length.
Janelle Brown Admits Relationship With Kody Is Struggling
In the new year, it was revealed that Janelle was seriously considering divorcing Kody. The rumors were that Janelle felt her relationship was coming to an end with Kody, and she stated so during season 16. At the time, the 52-year-old revealed that she had time to think while isolating herself due to Kody's strict rules, noting that her children were all grown and that her marriage to Kody wasn't a "huge necessity" anymore. Even though Janelle felt the polygamous lifestyle was a wonderful way to raise children, she remarked on how "easy" it would be to walk away.
It is also fair to assume that Janelle has made mental notes on the positive impact Christine's decision has had on her. The Sister Wives stars are very close, and Janelle has supported Christine every step of the way. It is obvious to everyone that Christine is much happier, and the feeling may be rubbing off on Janelle. It isn't hard to fathom that Christine and Janelle have conversations about being free from Kody's rules.
For now, Janelle is staying put as she tries to navigate her marriage to Kody. As Sister Wives fans know, the couple tied the knot in 1993, with Janelle not bonding with Meri or Robyn. Either the three women will have to learn to get along or possibly lose Janelle as well.
