For nine seasons, Shahs of Sunset original cast member Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi has been inspiring fans with her frank personality. GG is definitely the most honest among her group of friends and she never disappoints. From calling out her friends on their lies to generally telling like it is, she inspires long-time fans of the show to keep watching.
On the first episode of Shahs of Sunset season 9, Golnesa was accused of being involved with a fake text messages scandal. The texts were allegedly sent through a spoof account. These texts revealed cast member Mike Shouhed's cheating allegations against his girlfriend Paulina Ben Cohen. Even though Mike admits that he wasn't honest about who sent the texts, he mentioned that dating advice expert Reza Farahan told him that GG sent them. GG was angry about these allegations, but instead of encouraging Mike to be faithful to his girlfriend, she told him that he should break off his relationship because he can't remain monogamous with anyone. Sharing a similar perspective with her friend helps her to better understand what he is going through, and that can be inspiring to viewers of the show.
Golnesa recently made headlines by feuding with former The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Kelly Dodd, and she did not hold back when it came to sharing her feelings. The former housewife was fired from the show due to offensive comments made about the Black Lives Matter movement and the COVID-19 pandemic. Golnesa expressed her opinions about Kelly in a gg_golnesa Instagram video, firing back at her when she pretended she didn't know who GG was and mocked her disabilities. Kelly admitted to wanting to be on Shahs of Sunset in a previous The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion show. "I've been on Bravo a long time before you, and guess what? I'm gonna be on a long time after you. I'm an OG of my show, I'm a starter of my show, and I will be a closer of my show," GG said in the video.
GG is always appreciative of her fans and sent a follow-up video in response to their positive reactions. "Oh, I love you guys. Thank you for having my back. It has been awesome to see all of you guys have my back." Thousands of fans commented in support of the company owner GG. "Who’s got a show & who doesn’t? Love you GG," one fan commented. "Girl! Love you for you! You keep on moving forward! Onward and forward! " another replied in response to GG's post. Being able to have a community of fans by being honest is what GG deserves. GG stands up for what's right and she is always promoting her show. She even promotes Shahs of Sunset to fans who don't watch it. In February, she tweeted, "Uhm, hello! Why do people say they're HUGE fans of @BravoTV but they're really only talking about the Housewives. Now I loooove myself some RH's but d*mn, can Shahs get some love too please! Season 9 coming sooooon... if u care! #Shahs." This tweet is definitely enough to make some people want to watch the show, especially to see GG continuing to inspire others with her honesty.
