In recent seasons, Nicole Jimeno's behavior on The Family Chantel has made fans conclude that she is a narcissist. When viewers were first introduced to Pedro Jimeno's sister Nicole on the show, she seemed to be welcoming and caring, especially towards her brother and Chantel. However, as the relationship between Pedro and Chantel evolved, the way that Nicole treated Chantel got much worse, to a shocking degree. This made many fans conclude that she had been hiding her true nature from the beginning.
Although Nicole started off on a good note with fans during the early stages of Chantel and Pedro's relationship, viewers never truly warmed up to her. In fact, they considered Nicole a villain from the start. Unfortunately, she quickly proved them right with shady behavior, including constantly attacking Chantel, and often working towards ending her brother's relationship. In addition, Nicole was one of the enablers of Pedro's affairs, which ultimately led to their divorce. Fans of The Family Chantel have been calling her out, including a Reddit user, u/globaltravelshistory. They wrote, "She's a narcissist." Nicole Jimeno's Jealous Behavior
Feeling unceasingly envious of others is one of the major traits of a narcissist, and Nicole's jealousy over Chantel's fame is obvious to The Family Chantel fans. Before Pedro met Chantel, his world revolved around his mother (Lydia Jimeno) and sister. However, once she noticed Pedro and Chantel's affection towards one another, Nicole changed. She started insulting (and fighting with) Chantel. Also, unlike Nicole, Chantel was financially independent. She could take care of her own needs, while Nicole relied on Pedro for cash.
Nicole Jimeno's Insecure Attitude
Throughout the series, Nicole never fails to show her insecurity, whenever it comes to her and Chantel. Chantel's natural beauty is one of her most striking traits, which fans praise her for. While Nicole is also beautiful, she doesn't get as many glowing comments about her looks. As a result, many fans believe that her verbal attacks on Chantel are rooted in insecurity. Nicole even altered her looks through plastic surgery, so she could compete in pageants, which she eventually lost.
Nicole Jimeno's Selfishness & Entitlement Are Grating
Even though Nicole was not fully supporting Chantel's relationship with Pedro, she still expected to receive special treatment and gifts. Nicole wanted to continue getting presents from Chantel, even though she worked behind the scenes to match Pedro with her friend, Coraima. While Chantel was trying to save her marriage to Pedro, Nicole sabotaged all of her efforts. She even started a rumor that Pedro had cheated on Chantel with Coraima. Unfortunately, Nicole's narcissistic behavior contributed to Chantel and Pedro's divorce, and fans of The Family Chantel won't forgive Nicole for that.
