Many Selling Sunset viewers are tired of Christine Quinn's endless drama and want her to quit the show. The 33-year-old reality star first debuted in season 1 in March 2019, and quickly emerged as one of the most controversial cast members on the series. After watching Christine stir the pot in almost every episode, many viewers are convinced that she is faking her Selling Sunset villain persona. In the first few seasons, she ruined her friendship with her best friend, Mary Fitzgerald. She was also called out for being a mean girl toward Chrishell Stause.
Eventually, Christine became friends with her co-star, Heather Rae Young. However, she soon started talking smack about her and her new husband, Tarek El Moussa online. In Selling Sunset season 4, Christine picked a fight with Emma Hernan as soon as she joined The Oppenheim Group. She accused the 29-year-old entrepreneur of stealing her boyfriend, which created more drama and ignited explosive fights. In the most recent season, the realtor hurt her on-again, off-again friend Davina Potratz's feelings by calling her a people pleaser.
Even though Christine's witty remarks and comebacks are entertaining, many Selling Sunset viewers don't want to watch more of her on the show. They think that the Hollywood Hills resident exudes negative energy, making the show less enjoyable and more stressful. However, Christine's extremely problematic behavior toward her co-stars has slowly started driving viewers away. In the latest season of Selling Sunset, Christine disrespects her co-star Chrishell by saying that she gets better listings because she is "f***ing the boss." She also tries to sabotage Emma’s career. Christine is caught acting unethically after offering a bribe to Emma's longtime client so the client would work with her, rather than Emma. Still, she doesn't get fired or face any consequences. It is one thing to speak your mind but another to humiliate and belittle someone. However, Christine doesn't even get a verbal warning.
Since Christine gets away with everything, many Selling Sunset viewers have started despising her. She is manipulative and hypocritical, and such characteristics can only amuse fans for so long. It is possible that she has signed up to act like an antagonist, and therefore feels compelled to spark unnecessary controversies, but a lot of fans continue to dislike her. It seems that Christine has lost her queen bee cachet. Despite her strong screen presence, drop-dead gorgeous looks, and fantastic fashion sense, many Selling Sunset fans are refusing to watch her anymore.
