Viewers were first introduced to Hannah Brown during Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor. She was one of two girls named Hannah on the show, so she was known as "Hannah B." She is best known for her drama with a former friend and fellow cast member, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, due to things that happened before they appeared on the show. Ultimately, Hannah B. was eliminated from the competition during week seven, landing her in seventh place. Although she didn't find love with Colton, her search for love wasn't over, as she was cast as the lead for The Bachelorette season 15.

During her time on The Bachelorette, 30 men wooed her. After 10 weeks of competition, she chose Jed Wyatt over fan-favorite Tyler Cameron. Unfortunately, the relationship did not last long, as Hannah Brown found out that Jed Wyatt had a girlfriend before and during the filming of the series. Jed claimed that he originally came on the show to promote his music career, and then began to develop real feelings for Hannah. Despite this proclamation, Hannah decided to break off the engagement due to the information that had come to light. Hannah was then offered the chance to star in The Bachelorette season 16 but turned down the offer.

Although Hannah was considered for the role of The Bachelorette again, that doesn't mean that all franchise fans would have been thrilled to see her return. Hannah Brown recently celebrated her 26th birthday during the pandemic. According to TV Shows Ace, she sold tickets so fans could virtually attend. However, when Hannah posted a photo of herself and 12 others posing inside a boat with no masks on and no social distancing, she got her fair share of criticism. One critic said, “Influencers are not taking the same precautions as they did. as someone who works in healthcare I believe it’s important to keep people who influence millions online accountable.” Another person agreed, saying that influencers are potentially giving the wrong message to all their followers.

Hannah Brown stated that she gets rapid testing done to ensure that she does not have COVID-19. That does not stop fans from thinking that Hannah is sending the wrong message. With the pandemic still ongoing, many think that people like her are encouraging young people to think it's safe to start partying again.

With Hannah being an active part of Bachelor Nation since her The Bachelor season, many think that her time is on the series is up. This is not the first time the former The Bachelorette lead has come under fire this summer, so many fans think that she needs to take time to herself, far away from the spotlight.
