Fans suspect Mike Berk manipulated the 90 Day Fiancé cast into supporting him despite his bad behavior. The 34-year-old became a household name after debuting in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 with 25-year-old Colombian girlfriend Ximena Morales. The sweet man from New York suddenly showed his true colors when Ximena threatened to break up with him. Mike was judged for throwing a fit in front of Ximena's kids and family when he refused to leave her house because he was paying the rent. Never did fans expect to see this side of Mike, but his cast members still found a way to blame Ximena for it.
Naïve New Yorker Mike was touted as the best cast member of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 when fans saw that Ximena was using him for money. They felt Mike didn’t deserve the way gold digger Ximena treated him and took advantage of his kindness. But as it turns out Mike had told the 90 Day Fiancé cameras many lies about his relationship with Ximena. Mike had not met Ximena on Tinder, as he had initially claimed. It was Ximena who exposed Mike’s lies when he warned her that he’d stop giving her money if she broke up with him. Ximena said she’d start working as a model if that happened, which make Mike mock her and ask if she’d work as a model on an adult site. Ximena slammed Mike by revealing that he had met her on an adult cam site and offered to pay her bills if she quit her line of work.
However, during the Tell-All, the 90 Day Fiancé cast slammed Ximena for taking advantage of Mike. It was almost as if they had not witnessed Mike and Ximena’s breakup scene in the final two episodes, which showed the true nature of their mutually transactional relationship. The cast coddling Mike could have actually been because of them not being aware of the reality of it. The Tell-All was filmed sometime in January this year, which was well before the episodes lifted the lid off Mike’s made-up innocent personality on screen. This may have given Mike enough leeway to even criticize couples such as Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo for their relationship troubles when his own future with Ximena was in jeopardy.
In fact, there was a point during the 90 Day Fiancé Tell-All when Mike told Ben Rathbun that if his girlfriend would have ghosted him at the airport as Mahogany Roca did with Ben, he would have simply left. This was when fans had watched Mike refuse to leave Ximena’s house despite her numerous requests. The same Mike who technically manipulated Ximena into dating him by giving her money found it easy to influence his cast members into buying his narrative. Moreover, Mike is now trying to befriend the new 90 Day Fiancé cast members by contacting them on Instagram.
Mike has been spotted telling Bilal Hazziez that he’s slid into his DMs. He has also recently given Jibri Bell a shout out on Instagram. Mike’s annoying actions have been called out by fans who think he’s going to use the new cast members to stay relevant or simply get them to support him in his war against Ximena. Even though Mike claimed he and Ximena were back together during the Tell-All, the 90 Day Fiancé couple broke up sometime after their Cartagena trip. Ximena has confessed she’s single again. And Mike’s hunt for sympathy and celebrity status is supposedly going to land him a new spin-off, and perhaps brand him another controversial 90 Day Fiancé star like Big Ed Brown.
