Amy Slaton Halterman from 1000-lb Sisters has been sharing some cute photos of her son Gage as of late, but fans particularly love her pic of Gage dressed in a 90s throwback t-shirt. As fans know, Amy loves to share photo updates of her little boy as he enjoys his daily activities. Now, the newest post of Gage is catching some attention.
Michael Halterman and his wife Amy had always wanted to start a family together. For years, Amy's weight hindered their pregnancy dreams. However, after she lost weight and qualified for gastric bypass surgery, she was finally able to shed the pounds. The couple welcomed their son Gage in November of 2020. Since then, their lives have been turned upside down in the best of ways, as Amy loves being a caring mother to her son.
Fans were thrilled when they noticed Gage sporting a 90s throwback shirt after Amy shared a special photo on her Instagram. The 1000-lb Sisters celeb joked that her son had no idea who the characters were, but stated that he "looked good in anything." The t-shirt gave a special nod to the famed 90s series, Rugrats. The show was about Tommy Pickles and his baby friends overcoming any issues while playing with their favorite toy dinosaur, Reptar. The retro shoutout made 1000-lb Sisters fans extremely happy, with some encouraging Amy to buy the Rugrats box set for her son. TLC viewers couldn't help but wonder who exactly Gage would take after. Could he be the leader of the pack, Tommy? Or maybe scaredy-cat Chuckie Finster? Either way, Gage's life is bound to be full of adventure since his mother is a reality TV star. Hopefully, Amy will be able to figure out which Rugrats character her son would be and share a fun update.
The 90s nostalgia never gets old amongst 1000-lb Sisters viewers, who truly love to see a good ode to what was once a beloved show. Amy, who has felt like a bad mom at times, is currently trying to spend all of her free time with Gage. He is poised to become a big brother in the summer. Amy will have to learn to balance raising two children and spread her love around. In the future, Amy may have her very own Tommy and Dil Pickles on her hands
