The funniest The White Lotus season 2 line was actually improvised, reveals actor Sabrina Impacciatore. The Italian actress stars as resort manager Valentina in The White Lotus season 2, which takes place at the fictional hotel's Sicilian location. Created by Mike White, the Emmy Award-winning series follows the exploits of the privileged guests at the titular top-tier resort and its employees. Jennifer Coolidge, one of the two actors returning from The White Lotus season 1, stars alongside Impacciatore as Tanya, and John Gries, as her newly married husband, Greg. While satirical, season 2 has a darker and more dangerous feel than season 1, with multiple dead bodies found on the hotels' premises by the end of their vacation. Still, certain characters and moments have offered plenty of comic relief, with one Peppa Pig line going viral.

As it turns out, the funniest The White Lotus season 2 line was actually improvised by actor Sabrina Impacciatore, she told Access Hollywood. The moment comes when Tanya (Coolidge), dolled up in all pink to look like Monica Vitti, asks Valentina who she reminds her of. Valentina hilariously responds, "Uh....Peppa Pig?" in the now viral moment. Luckily, creator Mike White allowed Impacciatore to improvise the scene, where she came up with the line on the spot. Watch Impacciatore's breakdown of The White Lotus scene and how her idol, Coolidge, reacted to it below.

Why Valentina Is The Best Character On White Lotus Season 2

White Lotus Peppa Pig Line BTS

While initially coming off as a controlling and callous boss towards her employees in The White Lotus' season 2 premiere, she's quickly become a fan-favorite character while it progresses. The Peppa Pig line perfectly summarizes Valentina's personality, who can't help but be brutally honest, even to high-paying hotel guests. Although she is strict and runs the hotel with an iron fist, it's fun and empowering to watch a woman so assure of herself. Valentina can be viewed as judgmental, but her genuine dedication to her job and hard-working nature makes up for it.

While most characters on The White Lotus are flawed, and Valentina is no different, she redeems herself by showing she has a good heart. At first extremely condescending towards escorts Lucia (Simona Tabasco) and Mia (Beatrice Grannò), she eventually gives in and allows them to roam around the White Lotus property. Valentina also finally lets Mia, who's asked her since they first met, to sing and play the piano for the hotel's restaurant. Her hard exterior has slowly melted away, however, perhaps Valentina's greatest character development is her acceptance of her sexuality.

Now possibly a White Lotus tradition, the hotel manager is gay and lusting after a co-worker. Valentina is in love with receptionist Isabella (Eleonora Romandini), but can't bring herself to admit it. In a moment that had viewers cheering, Valentina lets her guard down and has fun, having sex with a woman for the first time. Although the encounter can be seen as transactional between her and Mia, it's still a special moment for Valentina. As she is confirmed to make it out alive, though, it will be interesting to see how her storyline concludes when she is forced to deal with the dead bodies that have turned up at her hotel. While The White Lotus season 1 managers' fate ended in tragedy, here's hoping Valentine gets the happy ending she deserves.
