Almost immediately upon arrival at the White Lotus’ Sicily resort, Harper revealed that she couldn’t trust Cameron and Daphne – primarily the former. Harper believes that Cameron is using Ethan for his wealth, and wants to use the vacation as a way to “Alpha” Ethan all over again by asserting his dominance. However, Ethan hints that this is the same reason why he wanted to go on this vacation, as his newfound wealth gives him bragging rights over his old college “friend.” Harper’s belief that Cameron didn’t have Ethan’s best interest in mind also stemmed from their first day at the resort, as Cameron undressed until he was fully nude in front of Harper, perhaps trying to seduce her.

Despite having evidence supporting her reservations about Cameron and Daphne, Harper likely won’t be able to do anything about it in The White Lotus season 2. Rather, The White Lotus hints that Harper and Cameron will eventually hook up, which may even culminate in deadly revenge. In addition to a potential affair, Harper is seemingly too late to stop Ethan from being swayed by Cameron’s poor influence. Ethan already kissed Mia and is being swept up in the euphoria of Cameron’s exploitative lifestyle, indicating he could make a huge mistake by agreeing to invest in Cameron’s company.

The White Lotus season 2’s opening scene teases there are several guests who die before the week concludes, with Daphne being the only guest confirmed to be alive. Since Harper, Ethan, and Cameron weren’t seen with Daphne in the cold open, one or several of them could be The White Lotus' mysterious murder victims. The White Lotus season 2, episode 3 hints at tensions continuing to rise between the couples with the dangers of romantic jealousy or white-collar crimes on the horizon, so Harper’s warnings against Cameron were undoubtedly in vain.
