After its initial launch onto Netflix, The Witcher quickly became the streaming network's favorite show of the year. Featuring characters morally grey at best, The Witcher was a defining series of the fantasy genre. This had to do with the characters.
Fierce, battle-worn, and wounded, everyone had a favorite character they identified with most. But one of the most important questions in the show and in life is who do you end up with? From witchers to queens, everyone has a zodiac sign to find themselves paired with.
Yennefer – Aries
The epitome of chaos, Yennefer is the ultimate Aries. She uses her fiery personality literally and figuratively. Even in the culmination of the first season, she is ready to use her emotional whims to channel her destructive power.
Yennefer is the match for any Aries. Headstrong and sure of herself, you must also be this kind of extrovert to be with her.
Triss – Taurus
When Triss first reveals herself, she is all about fairness and what is right. She enlists Geralt into helping her kingdom rid itself of a beast terrorizing its people. She is one of the more levelheaded sorceresses in The Witcher.
She sides with Geralt when it turns out the Striga is, in fact, Foltest's daughter and a princess. Any Taurus would find comfort in her reassuring presence.
Tissaia - Gemini
The sorceress who recruited Yennefer, Tissaia often holds things to the chest. Her dual nature is evident immediately. Though she called Yennefer 'piglet,' the quarter elf sorceress was Tissaia's favorite student.
She may seem mysterious but is someone a true Gemini would love. She is difficult to predict but if you get to know her, her contradictory nature makes even more sense.
Jaskier – Cancer
Basing all decisions on pure emotion, Jaskier fits the bill. He would gladly sing a song dedicated to your prowess and/or beauty and take your criticism with equal measure. Though not very happily.
An artist above all else, Jaskier is the perfect match for any Cancer. And coined the most iconic song on The Continent.
Eist – Leo
The heart of a lion, Leo’s will love Eist. Formidable as his choice in women, he never gives up. He courted Queen Calanthe ad nauseam before she relented.
His strength of spirit is evident on the battlefield as well as in love. Eist knows what he wants and he goes after it, more often than not obtaining it.
Sabrina – Virgo
Smart to a fault, Sabrina always knows that she possesses talent. Even when training at Aretuza, Sabrina was top of the class. She was one of the only ones to catch lightning in a bottle on command.
As a fully-fledged sorceress, she is in the thick of the fighting. Loving a Virgo can be challenging at times, especially when they always know they’re right. But it fits since Sabrina often is.
Istredd – Libra
The path of least resistance is the name of the game for any Libra. Istredd does what his betters tell him to do. Yennefer's opinion of him was also of great importance.
It is the reason they broke up to begin with. He cared about her more than she cared about him. Istredd is often swayed by those surrounding him. Libra’s shy away from conflict and Istredd always chooses the path that is the easiest to come by.
Queen Calanthe - Scorpio
Cunning and outspoken, it is not always the easiest to be with a Scorpio. Queen Calanthe would do anything to keep her loved ones close to her. Lie, cheat, and fight bloody brawls.
Even though Geralt has claim to Ciri through the law of surprise, Calanthe does everyone in her power to keep him from her granddaughter. Nothing is out of the realm of possibility for this sign. It is dangerous, but any Scorpio will appreciate the challenge.
Renfri - Sagittarius
Renfri’s personality is defined by her desire for freedom. When life knocks her down, she gets back up with a gang of fighters to support her.
She understands the way of the world with clarity. She knows that The Continent is full of hypocrisy and is going to live whether they want her to or not. If you love freedom as much as a Sagittarius, you deserve to be with Renfri.
Geralt – Capricorn
Geralt is a solitary being which at times makes it difficult to maintain a relationship with him. But once you get to know him, his hard work and determination are defining characteristics. Any Capricorn can understand his work ethic.
He knows the difference between right and wrong and while he mostly chooses what is the best move for him, his conscience is always there.
Fringilla – Aquarius
Anyone wanting to be with an Aquarius would have to go with the flow. Fringilla will always do what is best for her and what she believes, no matter who it hurts.
This type of behavior can be hard for a romantic partner but makes her strong. Even if it means burning down villages.
Cahir - Pisces
A true believer, Cahir follows emotions rather than logic. His loyalty to Nilfgaard is his motivation for trying to capture Ciri. Nilfgaard thinks that Ciri will be the key to their success in The Continent.
A Pisces can connect with Cahir on his unrelenting faith and intensity. Every day is a new adventure, even if that adventure is an attempt at world domination.
