The Office continues to be a popular series even though it's been off the air for years as more people are turning into fans and fans rewatch the show all the time. Every episode is quotable, and every character offers something unique for the viewer to associate him or her with.

Similarly, each Zodiac sign presents something distinct that separates it from the other signs. The Office's eclectic characters are like those on no other show. It is natural to notice some similarities between them and certain Zodiac signs, given how overt some of their traits are.

Updated on January 25th, 2021 by Kristen Palamara: The Office has a wide cast of characters including its main cast, secondary characters, and recurring characters that all have a particular and unique personality. Each character has different attributes, both good and bad, that make up their personality and can be compared to positive and negative attributes to each typical Zodiac sign's personality. The Office characters have a lot of positive traits but they're all also flawed with negative traits as well. Fans continue to watch and rewatch The Office and analyze each character's actions, storylines, character arcs, and personality traits throughout the entire series.

Virgo: Angela Martin

Angela Martin in The Office

Angela is a fiercely loyal, hardworking, and practical employee and significant other particularly to Dwight when the two are dating and eventually get married. She's also analytical and does well with Oscar in the accounting department.

She has a tendency to take herself and everything too seriously and can be overly critical of others when they don't follow her plan. All of Angela's attributes, good and bad, are similar to the Virgo sign.

Sagittarius: Kevin Malone

Kevin Malone talking to Oscar on The Office

Kevin is a generous and idealistic character with a pretty basic but great sense of humor as he's an incredibly happy go lucky guy. Although Kevin tries his best, he tends not to have a filter and says things that he probably doesn't mean to say, but that's not an oddity in the office.

He can also promise more than he can deliver at times although he does know himself pretty well and knows his shortcomings making him similar to the Sagittarius sign.

Aries: Meredith Palmer

the office

Meredith is similar to the Aries sign because she is a confident character who knows exactly who she is and isn't afraid to live her life the way she wants to live it. She's an honest person who tells everyone from her co-workers to her kids to her boss exactly what she's thinking.

Meredith can also be moody, short-tempered, and incredibly impulsive throughout the series as she makes split decisions without thinking and can also get angry when things don't work out her way.

Capricorn: Stanley Hudson

Stanley Hudson from The Office

Most of the time, Stanley is a disciplined and reserved worker as well as a responsible family man who has a good amount of self-control, but he is known to let loose whether it's his alter ego in Florida or his excitement on Pretzel Day.

Stanley can also be sarcastic and condescending while also acting like he knows more than most of the office, which makes him similar to the Capricorn sign.

Pisces: Creed Bratton

Creed playing the guitar on The Office

Creed is musical, artistic, and oddly wise at times throughout the series. Creed isn't a typical office worker and is one of the weirdest at Dunder Mifflin, which is saying something since the entire office has an eccentric side.

Creed has a similar personality to the Pisces sign because of his musical and wise attributes and for his desire to escape reality at times.

Aries: Dwight Schrute

An Aries doesn't back down from a challenge of any kind. They are courageous, hard-working, and determined, oftentimes seeking out new obstacles to keep from becoming complacent.

This is a huge aspect of Dwight Schrute's mentality, as the Assistant Regional Manager/Assistant to the Regional Manager/Beet Farmer is seemingly unafraid of anyone or anything. He can hold grudges though, which is a negative Aries trait. Don't get on Dwight Schrute's bad side.

Taurus: Pam Beesly

Pam Beesley from The Office

Pam Beesly was one of the most even-keeled characters on The Office. Tauruses are known for their stability. Good or bad, a Taurus can be relied on to be patient and calmly work their way through any situation.

A Taurus also makes time for the finer things in life, which is appropriate for an artist and a founding member of the Finer Things Club. Pam Beesly doesn't allow for a stuffy corporate setting to take away from her love of art, literature, and all things beautiful, like a true Taurus.

Gemini: Andy Bernard

A Gemini is known for having a quick wit and an extroverted personality. Unfortunately, they are also infamous for having multiple personas that are vastly different from one another.

Andy Bernard can be fun and jovial, to the point of it being excessive. But, at any moment, he can fly off the rails in a fit of jealousy or rage. Such is the Andy Bernard experience, and such is what makes him a perfect Gemini representative.

Cancer: Michael Scott

A Cancer follows their heart, no matter what. Because of how in tune they are with their emotions, they can get a little clingy when they really care about someone, which is often. Cancers, like Michael Scott, just have so much love to give that they can't keep it inside.

Also, like Michael Scott, they are quite sensitive when their affection is not reciprocated. One look at Michael's dating history will tell you all you need to know about his extreme similarity to the Cancer personality.

Leo: Kelly Kapoor

Leos yearn for the spotlight. They are often the loudest person in the room, but it is only because of how confident they are in themselves. They are not afraid to put themselves out there to be judged, for they are comfortable when all eyes are on them.

Kelly Kapoor has no qualms about making her opinion heard. She is also stubborn, a downside of being a Leo. Good or bad, Leo's fire is simply unmatched.

Virgo: Jan Levinson

One of Michael Scott's more serious relationships is with Jan Levinson. She is an extremely hardworking and independent woman, which makes it difficult to show emotion from time to time.

Michael Scott is the exact opposite of her, which dooms their relationship from the start. A Virgo is highly methodical and practical. But, like an onion, you must peel them back layer by layer, for they do not reveal what is inside as easily as other signs.

Libra: Toby Flenderson

If you are ever trying to settle a dispute, it would behoove you to call upon a Libra. This sign is known for being fair-minded and always striving for balance, giving them naturally good judgment.

Toby Flenderson might be loathed by Michael Scott for a variety of reasons, but he does an admirable job as the head of Human Resources, given the nature of the people he is tasked with monitoring. Libras are also prone to over-sensitivity and meekness. That's Toby Flenderson for you.

Scorpio: Phyllis Vance

A scorpion's tail is always cocked and ready if it feels threatened or is in any danger. Scorpios are the same way. They are good friends but are not afraid to dish out some punishment to those who have crossed them.

Phyllis Vance might seem like a sweet woman who offers good advice to anyone at Duder Mifflin, and most of the time, she is. Don't get on her bad side, though, for it is quite difficult to regain her trust once you have lost it.

Sagittarius: Ryan Howard

Ryan Howard is constantly trying to find his Golden Ticket. He is goal-oriented, as shown by his slew of business ventures and his rise through the ranks of Dunder Mifflin.

Sagittarius are known to bite off a little more than they can chew, like Ryan Howard does with his failed million-dollar idea Wuphf, and his eventual fall from grace after his promotions at work. Still, a Sagittarius like Ryan Howard will always look for their next big break; you simply can't keep them down forever.

Capricorn: Oscar Martinez

Capricorns are usually the most responsible, intelligent, and, sometimes, condescending ones in the room. Oscar Martinez is a quintessential Capricorn. He can be a bit of a downer, a side-effect of knowing too much.

He keeps his emotions in check most of the time, though, for a Capricorns' self-control is one of their greatest traits. Their minds are always ticking, even though their emotions might not be.

Aquarius: Erin Hannon

Aquariuses produce some truly unique individuals, like Erin Hannon. Although she seems like an air-headed, bubbly receptionist on the surface, there is far more depth to her than meets the eye.

Her outward emotion is simply a facade. Erin Hannon's inner struggle stemming from her less-than-ideal upbringing sometimes makes it difficult for her to truly open up to someone, the latter of which is another Aquarius trait. Erin Hannon is simply one of one.

Pisces: Jim Halpert

Jim Halpert is a compassionate and unassuming man. The Pisces Zodiac sign is known for producing caring people that possess tact, which allows them to make those around them feel better about themselves.

They have no trouble connecting with people on an emotional level, which sometimes leads to them becoming fixated with one person they love. Try as he might, Jim Halpert is never able to shake his feelings towards Pam Beesly, until, finally, she reciprocates them. A happy ending for a Pisces.
