The Avengers protect the Earth from hometown villains and alien invaders. Off-planet, however, is protected by another group: The Guardians of the Galaxy. The Guardians fly through the stars, taking on jobs and saving the galaxy. They're a team of misfits, each with a unique personality.
The Guardians are up in space, among the very stars that make up our beloved zodiac signs. They've probably flown past their own signs! But what are their signs? And which Guardian of the Galaxy does that make you?
Aries: Drax
Aries are jumpers. They jump into action. They jump into chaos. They jump into adventure. And if you're Drax, you jump into the mouth of a massive tentacled beast.
Like most Aries, Drax is an open book. He speaks his mind, even when it's not requested. Drax is extremely competitive. He always wants to be the one to save the day. As the other Guardians know, sometimes it's just best to let an Aries believe they did.
Taurus: Yondu
Yondu is a stubborn man. He has a tough life but he doesn't let it get him down. He clings to the good things in life. He enjoys his shore leave heartily and he decorates his space with little trinkets.
This is just like a Taurus. Taureans are stubborn and resilient. Like Yondu, they're survivors. But that doesn't mean they can't enjoy nice things. Yondu doesn't seem like the kind of man who would collect shiny baubles, but Taureans are full of contradictions.
Gemini: Rocket
Geminis are full of personality, and Rocket Raccoon sure doesn't disappoint. He may be small and compact but he has enough personality to fill two Groots. Geminis are known for their tricky tongues. Rocket's capable, but he often doesn't bother.
Like all Geminis, Rocket is full of energy. He's never one to back down from a fight. He'll keep talking and pushing buttons, especially if someone is getting close to his gooey interior. Geminis have trouble letting people get close to them.
Cancer: Kraglin
Kraglin is Yondu's loyal follower. As a Cancer, he's a loyal, supportive friend. Kraglin follows Yondu through thick and thin and stays even when all others have abandoned him.
Cancers have thick walls up to protect their huge hearts. But when you leave Kraglin alone for a short time, he's been known to treat himself, even singing a sweet ode to soup. He's a big softie on the inside.
Leo: Ego
Leos are natural-born leaders. Ego fits this to a T. He gives a good inspiring speech and naturally brings others around to his cause. It just happens that Ego's cause isn't a good one.
Leos are larger than life. They have huge egos. And Ego, being a Celestial and a planet, has no shortage of ego. Most Leos are absolutely lovely but every once in a while there's a bad egg like Ego.
Virgo: Nebula
Nebula has proven herself a hero. She started out loyal to Thanos but became a loving sister and a galactic protector by the end. Like a Virgo, she is analytical, judgmental, and deeply perceptive.
Virgos are often too hard on themselves and Nebula has internalized too much of her father's criticism. She works hard to overcome her own self-doubt and to do what she thinks is right.
Libra: Thanos
Thanos is the MCU's big baddie. His whole life goal is balance. Not personal balance, but galactic balance. This is totally in line with a Libra. They want everything to be balanced and fair.
Like Libras, Thanos is smart and diplomatic. He's tactful and full of smooth words. He uses this smoothness to further his agenda. He's a powerful figure but on the wrong side.
Scorpio: Gamora
Gamora is like a Scorpion. She's armed and ready to strike at any moment but won't do so unless bothered. She's got layers. She's cold and independent on the outside but passionate and friendly on the inside.
Scorpios are relentless when they have a purpose, a mission. When Gamora's mission is saving the galaxy, no one can stop her. She's not a bad leader, either.
Sagittarius: Starlord
Starlord is a classic Sagittarius. He's a rogue, a maverick, a cowboy of sorts. He absolutely needs to be free. Sagittarians cannot be contained. They need room to roam.
Their independence doesn't necessarily make them selfish. Starlord, and other Sagittarians, always try to help others. They have big hearts, they just need the space to protect them.
Capricorn: Ronan
Ronan the Accuser is Guardians' small baddie. He's a villain, but secondary to Thanos. Nevertheless, Ronan wishes, or even believes, he was on top. Like the goat, Capricorns take every foothold they can to climb to the top. Ronan is no stranger to climbing.
Ronan pursues his goals without hesitation. He wants to be secure at the top, the most powerful of all. In a less terrifying way, this describes most Capricorns. They value status and are dedicated to their ambitions.
Aquarius: Groot
Groot is a truth-sayer to those who understand him. He's an Aquarius, which makes him very truthful. He's also a natural questioner. He never lets anything go without comment.
Groot loves his friends but can be shy. Like all Aquarians, they are protective of their friends. Groot even makes the ultimate sacrifice for his.
Pisces: Mantis
Mantis is an empath. There are several empathic zodiac signs, but Mantis is a Pisces. She's a dreamer, creatively coming up with solutions during battle. She's also deeply impressionable. A simple touch and she takes on the emotion of whom she touched.
This sometimes makes life difficult. Mantis feels so much that she has trouble getting people around her to take her seriously. But just because she's emotional doesn't mean she's weak.
