If you want to take a step into the world of the supernatural with a new drama, here’s where to watch the new upcoming series Wolf Pack.
Based on the 2004 book by Edo van Belkom, Wolf Pack has been developed by writer and executive producer Jeff Davis, best known for creating the successful drama Criminal Minds and the critically acclaimed Teen Wolf. With Teen Wolf: The Movie just on the horizon, Davis has been busy working on an entirely new drama for fans of the popular werewolf series. But he’s promised that Wolf Pack will be completely different from what he’s created before.
Series involving supernatural creatures never fail to excite and unnerve viewers with samples such as Ghost Whisperer, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Paranormal proving to be some of the most popular dramas of all time, for their elements of horror and giving viewers an insight into the unknown. From vampires to werewolves, from mystical to murderous, there is always something unexpected in these different supernatural series. And the upcoming series, Wolf Pack is proving to be no exception.
What You Can Expect from Wolf Pack
Wolf Pack takes us into the world of werewolves and terror, where two young people have their lives changed forever when they find themselves caught in a California wildfire and are attacked by a terrifying supernatural creature. In the aftermath of the encounter, they encounter two other teenagers who went through a similar attack in a similar wildfire sixteen years ago. As the full moon rises, the four teenagers must team up in order to understand the dark secret that binds them together.
The series also marks the acting return of horror series icon Sarah Michelle Gellar, most famous for her work slaying vampires as Buffy Summers. She made a special appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022 to announce that she had joined the cast and will also serve as the executive producer alongside Davis.
But this time, Gellar replaces her wooden stake with silver bullets, as Kirsten Ramsey, who is in charge of investigating the suspicious wildfires that may have led to the reawakening of a predator that is terrorizing California. As Kirsten tries to put the pieces together and the teens struggle with what they have become, they must be prepared to face the danger that lies ahead of them.
Wolf Pack also stars Rodrigo Santoro, Bella Shepard, Tyler Lawrence Gray, Armani Jackson, and Chloe Rose Robertson.
Where to Watch Wolf Pack
If you feel like sinking your teeth into this new series, Wolf Pack is set to make its official debut on Paramount+ on 26th January. The first season will run for eight episodes and Gellar has promised that viewers can expect true horror mixed with human emotions and that they intend to push the envelope of terror further than they ever did before.
