The new series, led by supernatural powerhouse Sarah Michelle Gellar, is actually based on a book by Edo van Belkom, not the 1985 Teen Wolf movie or the 2011 series. However, Wolf Pack is confirmed to be set in the same world as Teen Wolf, as the Paramount+ Twitter page announced that Teen Wolf: The Movie "will set up a new Paramount+ Original series called Wolf Pack."
