The sixth installment of the Shrek movie franchise was widely praised by critics as one of its best, so it’s worth finding out where to watch Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. The Puss in Boots sequel sees the titular swashbuckling cat in a race against time to beat “Big” Jack Horner and Goldilocks and the Three Bears Crime Family to the mythical Last Wish to restore the first eight of his nine lives. With a 95% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish received near-universal acclaim from critics. It was received just as warmly by audiences, grossing more than $480 million worldwide (via Box Office Mojo).

In a nod to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is an ensemble piece. The star-studded voice cast brings back Antonio Banderas as Puss and Salma Hayek Pinault as his ex-fiancée, Kitty Softpaws, while introducing Florence Pugh as gangster Goldilocks, What We Do in the Shadows actor Harvey Guillén as therapy dog Perrito, and comedian John Mulaney as fearsome pastry chef “Big” Jack Horner. The Shrek spinoff has been hailed as an instant animated classic and deemed a must-see movie, and there’s an easily accessible streaming service where fans can watch Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is available to stream on Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service. Since Universal Pictures distributed the Puss in Boots sequel in theaters, their streaming platform got first dibs. A Peacock Premium subscription costs $4.99 a month or $49.99 per year. The annual subscription is a bigger commitment, but customers save just under $10 a year if they buy the yearly subscription as opposed to buying 12 months on the monthly subscription. Peacock isn’t the only place to watch Puss in Boots: The Last Wish; it can also be rented on Redbox, Apple TV, Vudu, Prime Video, and other VOD platforms.

Shrek and Shrek 2 are both available to stream on Hulu and Peacock. Shrek Forever After is available to stream on Hulu, Netflix, and Prime Video. The first Puss in Boots film is available to stream on Hulu and Netflix. Shrek the Third isn’t available on any subscription-based streaming services, but it can be rented on Apple TV, Prime Video, Google Play, and YouTube Movies (as can all the other Shrek films). NBCUniversal owns DreamWorks Animation, who produced all the Shrek movies, so it’s likely that every other installment will eventually join Shrek, Shrek 2, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish on Peacock when other streaming contracts expire.
