Breaking Down The Many Characters Of The Film

John and Judy, portrayed by Martin Freeman and Joanna Page, are put into quite an intimate situation. They are body doubles in a movie that are filming a sex scene for the film they are working on and find themselves developing feelings offscreen.
There are a few more characters in "Love Actually’s" lineup. Jamie, played by Colin Firth, is a crime novelist whose girlfriend recently cheated on him. He relocates to France to heal and write and meets a Portuguese housekeeper, named Aurelia. The two develop a relationship, despite a language barrier. Juliet and Peter, Keira Knightley and Chiwetel Ejiofor, have recently tied the knot. Peter’s best friend, Mark played by Andrew Lincoln, finds himself in love with Juliet as well. There is also Sarah and Karl, portrayed by Laura Linney and Rodrigo Santoro, who are co-workers who find themselves attracted to one another.
