Unlocking the power of Atum in Marvel's Midnight Suns requires players to utilize a magical relic known as the Moon Seal, which can only be obtained by collecting four Elemental Rods. The Elemental Rods include the elements: Air, Water, Fire, and Earth. Each of these rods is located in a different location on The Grounds map. While the map is not very large, navigating through its varying terrain, diverse obstacles, and complex environment might be challenging for some players. Fortunately, obtaining each Elemental Rod does not involve any difficult puzzle-solving or combat in Marvel's Midnight Suns.
First, players are encouraged to start their Elemental Rod search with the Air Rod item in Marvel's Midnight Suns, which can be found in the Whispering Wood region, slightly northwest of Agatha's Altar. To reach the rod's location, walk to the Elemental Altar but take the first right to enter the Whispering Wood. Next, walk down the trail until reaching an intersection marked with two ruined pillars. Take a left at this crossroad to discover a small candle-lit altar with the Air Rod in Marvel's Midnight Suns.
Every Elemental Rod Location in Marvel's Midnight Suns
Based on gameplay footage by YouTube content creator WoW Quests, the Water Elemental Rod in Marvel's Midnight Suns can be found within The Grotto, a landmark south of The Yard. First, investigate the stone bridge opposite the swimming pool in The Grotto to find the Water Rod hidden beneath the bridge's arc. Next, the Fire Rod can is located within the Chapel, one of the many rooms of the Abbey. Accordingly, enter Marvel's Midnight Suns' Abbey and go to the Chapel at the southernmost point of the monastery, past the Barracks. The Fire Elemental Rod in Marvel's Midnight Suns will be sitting on a small altar near the windows.
The fourth and final Elemental Rod in Marvel's Midnight Suns is the Earth Rod, which can be found at Hunter's Folly, a Region east of the Abbey and south of Dreamer's Descent. Players will find a small mausoleum with a locked door at the end of the trail at Hunter's Folly. Use the first Word of Power to open the door and pick up the Earth Rod located to the left of the entrance. After collecting all the Elemental Rods, players must return to Agatha's Altar and place all rods into the pillars surrounding the altar of power in Marvel's Midnight Suns. The Water Rod goes on the far left, and the Fire Rod goes into the pedestal on the far right. Next, the Air Rod must go into the pillar to the left of the second staircase, while the Earth Rod goes into the right. Once the rods have been placed, the Moon Seal will appear for the taking.
