Before her connection to Nick, Bre was married to controversial quarterback Johnny Manziel. Selling Sunset's Bre Tiesi Is From Los Angeles
According to an interview with People, Bre was born and raised in Los Angeles. She began modeling in the city at the age of 16, when her boyfriend’s mom suggested that she try it. The young Bre replied, “I was like, 'Oh, I don't know. I think I actually want to be a surgical technician.” However, it was a wake-up call for the teenager that her look was considered special. The Los Angeles native built a successful modeling career, but transitioned toward the real estate industry before she turned 30. She worked with Keller Williams Beverly Hills as an agent, prior to signing on with the Oppenheim Group.
Selling Sunset's Bre Has Sicilian/Italian Heritage
While the former model was born and raised in Los Angeles, unearthing information about her ethnicity was challenging. However, according to Distractify, clues regarding Bre’s ethnicity could be found on Instagram through her mother, Debra Tiesi. Debra (a Calabasas-born and raised actress, model, and writer) states in her Instagram bio that she is a, “Sicilian/Italian Princess.” This strongly suggests that Bre is part Italian. It’s unlikely that someone not of Italian descent would have such a bio, so Bre is likely at least half Sicilian/Italian.
Bre, who has a complicated relationship with her mom, expressed on Selling Sunset season 6 (to Heather Rae El Moussa) that she emancipated herself from her parents at the age of 15. After a friend committed suicide, her mom found it hard to live with Bre. Therefore, she was sent to live with her father. At that point, Bre emancipated herself. However, it seems she and her mom have made amends, as she appears regularly on Debra’s Instagram, alongside her sister, Alexis. Her father’s background is unconfirmed. While his name is believed to be John Gregory, he could be her stepfather, and not her biological father.
While Bre’s full ethnic makeup is a mystery, it’s fair to say that the former model is of Caucasian descent, and is likely at least partially Italian.
