It’s barely a month until Temptation Island season 4 hits the airwaves, and it's time to learn more about the cast members' Instagrams. The upcoming season will feature four brand new couples whose relationships are on the edge of failure. On the international reality dating show, the four couples head to Temptation Island with troubled hearts and open minds, as they prepare to decide if the people that came to the island with them are the ones they want to leave with. Though the season hasn’t started yet, fans can get a glimpse of the cast members’ personalities (and potential problems) at IG.
Although Temptation Island was originally a hit reality dating show in the early 2000s, the popular series has had a recent resurgence, and last year's season 3 was as explosive as ever. The show follows several couples who are having trouble with their relationship and want to put their connection to the ultimate test. Once couples arrive on the island, they split up and spend their time with the hot and single Temptation Island men and women, who are eager to steal the cast members away from their partners. In season 3, some relationships became stronger than ever and some ended in heartbreak. Season 4 looks like it will be just as entertaining.
Gillian Lieberman & Edgar de Santiago
23-year-old Edgar and 21-year-old Gillian have been in a relationship for four years, throughout college. Although they love each other, the couple is unsure about their future and starting a life together. Florida realtor Gillian’s Instagram account, @gillianlieberman.realtor, features no photos of Edgar, and Edgar’s account @edgar_desantiago contains few mentions of Gillian. However, this is typical for couples on reality TV shows, and may not be an indication of their current relationship status.
Ash Lamiroult & Hania Stocker
This Temptation Island season 4 couple has only been together for a year and a half, but 28-year-old Ash and 30-year-old Hania have a blast together. Ash, who can be found on Instagram as @that.ash.hole, is pursuing her writing career and plans to move to Brooklyn. Ash and Hania (who's on Instagram as @hanialuke), aren’t sure if their relationship is worth the distance and difficulties. They may decide to go their separate ways now.
Iris Jardiel & Luke Wechselberger
The relationship between 26-year-old Iris and 29-year-old Luke has been a rocky road. However, somehow, they’ve managed to stay together for four years. There are a lot of issues with jealousy on both sides, and it’s been a major obstacle in their relationship. Iris, on Instagram as @iris_jardiel, is suspicious of Luke’s flirting with other women, and Luke, on Instagram as @luke_wechselberger, has twice asked for a break from the relationship. The Temptation Island season 4 couple is unsure about the future. Should they continue their relationship or follow their hearts in separate directions?
Ashley Rodriguez & Lascelles Lagares
27-year-old Lascelles and 26-year-old Ashley have been dating for a whopping seven years, but their relationship seems to have come to a standstill. The couple has a very codependent dynamic, which they both know is not healthy. Ashley, on Instagram as @baddiee.ash, isn’t sure why Lascelles won’t propose to her and commit to an engagement. Lascelles, on Instagram as @luh_cellz, feels that he lacks independence. This couple is coming on the show to work on themselves as individuals, in addition to trying to heal their relationship.
The new Temptation Island season 4 couples are bringing a lot of baggage to the island, and not just suitcases. Each relationship has unique issues and unhealthy dynamics, so the long-time host Mark Walberg will have his work cut out for him. Still, if these cast members can resist the temptation of the island’s sexy singles, they could walk away from the show with relationships that are stronger than ever.
