The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills features intense quarrels each season, and the series' 12th installment is no exception, as Lisa Rinna and Kathy Hilton are going head-to-head. In the last episode, Lisa accused Kathy of behaving badly during the final night of their Aspen trip. Over the last few episodes, cast members, including Lisa, have had meltdowns in front of their fellow cast members, with minimal repercussions. Given Lisa's previous spats with past and present housewives, fans find it odd that she had such a strong reaction to Kathy’s alleged tantrum in Aspen. There was no footage of what transpired between Kathy and the other housewives on their last night out, which left fans wondering whether Kathy’s behavior was as catastrophic as Lisa made it out to be.

This season, the Beverly Hills cast took a trip to Aspen, and the getaway was pretty rocky from the start. Although the tension between Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke caused division within the group, the trip appeared to be ending on a good note. Earlier that day, Kathy was visibly upset with Lisa for refusing to drink her tequila brand, Casa Del Sol. She was also upset that her sister Kyle Richards (the host of the event) did not call Lisa out on for ignoring her tequila. After being slighted, Kathy left the bar immediately. Later that night, some housewives decided to go out for one last night of bar-hopping.

More footage showed Kathy, Kyle, and Lisa in the sprinter van. During the following episode, Lisa accused Kathy of having a meltdown, and claimed to have PTSD due to the alleged tirade. She also insinuated that Kathy was jealous of Kyle. When Kathy rejoined the group for Crystal Kung Minkoff’s Roaring Twenties birthday party, Lisa told Crystal that she was uncomfortable around Kathy, and left the party. On Twitter, viewers questioned Lisa’s account of what happened the night before, comparing it to Lisa’s own behavior on the show this season.

RHOBH Fans Are Sounding Off About Lisa Rinna & Kathy Hilton's Spat

Viewers commented on Lisa’s erratic behavior towards Sutton in earlier episodes of season 12. Lisa has had issues with Sutton, stemming from Sutton’s claim that Lisa never thanked her for bringing her to Elton John’s charity event. Lisa accused Sutton of being malicious towards her at a group event, despite the fact that Sutton previously apologized to her directly, at a private lunch. She continued to exhibit her disdain toward Sutton during Dorit Kemsley’s charity event, before bursting into tears. Lisa claimed that the behavior was due to the recent loss of her mother, but fans were not accepting that as an excuse, given that Lisa acted the same way well before her mother Lois Rinna's passing.

RHOBH's Lisa Rinna Broke a Glass in Amsterdam

Lisa has had plenty of shouting matches with housewives on the show, which left RHOBH viewers on edge. Her notorious argument with Kim on season 5’s trip to Amsterdam remains one of the most chaotic moments in the franchise. Fans on Twitter recall when Lisa was spreading rumors about Kim’s drinking problem to the rest of the cast. In Amsterdam, Kim confronted Lisa, and dropped the iconic line, “Let’s talk about the husband.” Lisa then proceeded to shout at Kim, and threw a glass at her.

RHOBH's Kathy Hilton Responds to Lisa Rinna’s Claims

Previews for the next RHOBH episodes show that the drama between Lisa and Kathy is far from over. Fans were reeling over screenshots of Instagram stories that Kathy shared, in response to Lisa’s comments. One screengrab accused Lisa of trying to turn fans against Kathy. They claimed that Lisa sabotaged Lisa Vanderpump, when she suggested that LVP used her brother's death as an excuse to not finish her last season. Lisa is currently losing in the court of public opinion, as fans continue to revisit her past behavior. There are rumors swirling that the Aspen drama will be at the center of the reunion, leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast divided. As season 12 draws to a close, fans are left to speculate on whether Lisa's reaction to Kathy's behavior is justified.
