Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola will soon be making her first-ever appearance on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, and it's time to share some interesting facts about her upcoming series stint. Although it's been confirmed that Sammi has reunited with the cast to film for the show, there are details about that slated appearance which aren't common knowledge. Despite being one of the original eight Jersey Shore roommates, Sammi opted out of returning for the spin-off series. This decision was made in an effort to avoid being around her troubled ex and costar, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.
The news of Sammy returning to Jersey Shore was first shared on social media, when the show posted a photo of the star filming a confessional in front of a green screen. Sammi later confirmed the news on her own social media page, by sharing the same picture. After that, the cast chimed in, putting their own enthusiasm on display. Sammi has been spotted filming with the cast on numerous occasions. The other roommates have also shared photos and videos with Sammi in them, from their recent filming days.
Sammi’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Return May Happen This Summer
Although the news of Sammi’s return has been confirmed, the exact date when she'll debut on the series is unknown. Typically, an installment of the spinoff series airs in two parts. The first half generally airs sometime in the winter, with the second half dropping in late spring or early summer. Because the first half of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation season 6 is currently airing, the cast has been filming for the second part of the season. Therefore, Sammi’s return will probably air in the second half of season 6, which may be available in late spring or early summer 2023.
Sammi Has Been Spotted Filming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation
While it hasn't been long since the big news of Sammi’s return was announced, the star has seemingly already spent many days filming for the show. During her first day of publicly being back with the cast, she was skiing with the group in Pennsylvania. Sammi was later spotted in Atlantic City, New Jersey, along with most of her costars, in support of Paul " Pauly D" DelVecchio's career. It's probable that Sammi filmed with the cast a few other times already, based on recent social media posts.
Sammi’s return shocked the cast. In fact, it has been rumored that they had no idea she was returning until she showed up to be filmed. Sammi may or may not play a role on the show. However, she is likely to be seen in at least a handful of episodes, based on how much she has been filming with the cast. It'll be interesting to see her dynamic with her costars when she joins the high-drama series, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
