November 2nd's Wordle answer is very similar to yesterday's solution as it uses many of the same letters, albeit in a different order. Much like yesterday's Wordle puzzle, players will be able to solve today's answer if they use words that feature multiple vowels in the first few attempts. While these words will be able to identify some of the vowels, figuring out the correct position of these vowels is key to solving today's Wordle puzzle. While using this strategy will work for most players, however, if some players prefer to save time and use hints instead, they can use some of the relevant clues below.
Using hints similar to clues found in other vocabulary games, such as crosswords and board games, has become the norm for solving daily Wordle puzzles. These hints give players a better chance of solving the answer without outright cheating. However, even though using hints is frowned upon by veteran Wordle players, only some players can afford to take their time for a strategic approach. Therefore, here are some hints that give a fair idea about today's Wordle answer that does not spoil the solution.
- Hint 1: a synonym for incompetent
- Hint 2: lacking in aptitude
- Hint 3: He was utterly ___ at Chess.
Today's Wordle Answer (November 2nd #501)
The November 2nd Wordle answer is INEPT.
Like yesterday's answer, players will find it more beneficial to solve today's puzzle using Wordle's hard mode. This mode lets players use previously discovered confirmed letters in different spots, forcing players to use words that feature letters in the same spots. While this process is slightly more time-consuming, skills developed using this mode can also be used in the regular mode. Unfortunately, this prevents players from using random words, which is often why players waste their attempts.
Much like yesterday's Wordle puzzle, our starting word, 'SPINE,' revealed the incorrect position of four letters. However, since Wordle doesn't repeat answers within two consecutive days, it was clear that the answer wasn't 'PINEY.' However, after using the word 'PINTS,' we were able to discover the incorrect position of the last letter from today's Wordle answer. Finally, after discovering the presence of the five letters, it was easy to solve today's Wordle answer using the word INEPT as it was the only answer that fit today's Wordle grid.
