For some players, getting the answer correct on their own is still an important part of the game. Before the fully spoiled Wordle answer is revealed, here are a few hints to help out those who might just need a little extra help.
- Hint 1: Today's word could be used to describe the feeling of confusion, or the inability to think straight.
- Hint 2: Fictional lawyer Matt Murdock's best friend shares his nickname with today's answer.
- Hint 3: There is a repeated letter in this Wordle answer.
Today's Wordle Answer (October 25th #493)
The October 25th Wordle answer is FOGGY.
As a strategy, we use the same starting Wordle word, IRATE, and today was no different. This proved to be quite unhelpful today with zero correct or incorrectly placed letters. Since we do use the same word though an easy pivot from it is POUND which covers the other main vowels and this gave us a single 'O' in the correct position. Wanting to test out a word ending in 'Y' and a possible double 'O' our third guess was LOOKY, this proved the 'Y' correct, but not the double vowel.
Feeling a bit stuck and knowing there is a multitude of options, our fourth Wordle guess was BOSSY, this provided nothing extra. Continuing the theme of getting it wrong our fifth attempt was MOMMY, which in hindsight was a bad guess since it would only provide one incorrect letter. After a long stare at the letters left over, it clicked and we barely scored a Wordle win-in-six with the correct answer, FOGGY.
