July 31st brings players the final Wordle word of the month and it shouldn't be too difficult for most players to solve. May has certainly been filled with some difficult words and despite the slowing of social media posts, Wordle is still being played by so many every single day. The game has continued to draw people in with its simple gameplay, once-a-day nature, and mixed difficulty. Some puzzles are harder when they utilize similar endings, like a Wordle puzzle that ends in 'ED'. There are just too many possible answers and players can get stuck wasting all their chances on the wrong ones.
For those players who prefer more of a challenge, Wordle does offer a Hard Mode which can be switched on in the options menu before starting any daily puzzle. This mode will stop players from repeating letters that have already been used. If a letter has been proven incorrect in a previous guess it will lock on the screen and no longer be allowed to be chosen. Alternatively, if a letter has previously been proven correct it must be used in the correct spot on all subsequent answers. Sometimes, knowing a Wordle answer is hard actually makes it easier to get correct.
Today's Wordle Hints (July 31st #407)
For those players who just need a little help, here are a few hints, followed by today's fully spoiled Wordle answer.

Today's Wordle Answer (July 31st #407)
The July 31st Wordle answer is CRAMP.
For our starting Wordle word, we used IRATE which provided a nice start with 'R' and 'A' being in the correct position. We followed that up with GRASS as our second guess, this didn't provide any extra correct letters but helped remove two more possibilities. Our third answer was BRAND, this also only provided more incorrect letters. After a few minutes and some stressful thinking, we went with CRAZY as our fourth guess. This provided the correct position for 'C' and led us down the spiral of too many options. Our fifth guess was CRAWL, which was also incorrect. This left us with only two possible word options based on the non-used letters, CRACK and CRAMP, sadly we chose CRACK thinking the game threw in a double letter, but we were wrong. Another common Wordle word has broken our newly started win streak.
