The May 24th Wordle word shouldn't cause many players too much trouble as it's an often-used word, but sometimes the most simple puzzles can still cause trouble. Wordle is a simple word-guessing game that tasks players with guessing a five-letter word within six guesses. There are multiple ideas on how to play Wordle to perfection, including what words to start with, or how to use hints in the best possible way, but truly the game shines best with just a little quiet time, some brainpower, and a cup of coffee.
Some players may find the game to be too easy, this is why Wordle has a Hard Mode that can be accessed through the options menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This mode, when activated, prevents players from reusing letters that have already been proven incorrect. This also locks down letters that have been proven correct into future answers. This stops a player from wasting guesses on words that would only provide another single letter or two and requires them to think a little more critically with guesses. Hard Mode is the best way to improve skill in the game and can actually make Wordle easier in the long run as players begin to find their own rhythm for the game.

Today's Wordle Answer (May 24th #339)
Today's Wordle answer is ALBUM.
A common word for a common Tuesday, for our starting Wordle word we used the vowel-heavy IRATE. This gave us only an incorrect position for 'A' and a bunch of completely wrong letters. Our follow-up guess was about trying to test another vowel so we went with CANON, this only gave us more incorrect letters and another spot that the 'A' does not go. Thinking maybe 'Y' plays a part in today's Wordle, we tried BYLAW which gave us 'B' and 'L' in the wrong spot and confirmation on where the 'A' goes. This easily led to the correct answer and a win-in-four for us with ALBUM.
