This harder mode forces players to solve the puzzle using stricter rules that can sometimes help them guess obscure words. When trying to guess today’s Wordle answer, we first used the word ‘SHAPE,’ which revealed the correct position of one letter and the incorrect position of another letter from the answer being used in today’s Wordle solution. Next, we used the word ‘FLING,’ which revealed the incorrect position of three new letters from today’s Wordle answer. Then, we used ‘BINGE,’ which showed the correct position for four letters for today’s Wordle answer. Finally, knowing the correct position of four letters from today’s solution, we luckily guessed the word HINGE for today’s Wordle answer.
