May 16th’s Wordle solution was yet another obscure word that might be difficult for players to guess in a limited number of tries. While the word is relatively common, it still isn’t as regularly used as other words in daily conversation. However, players can guess the correct answer for today’s Wordle answer by using strategic starting words and contextual hints. Since Wordle doesn’t do a great job at providing hints, it could be beneficial for players to get some contextual clues that do not spoil the solution.
Even though the game’s visual clues can help players, using Wordle’s hard mode is far more beneficial for players trying to guess difficult words such as today’s answer. This is because using Wordle’s hard mode forces players to use letters in the same spot that have already been discovered in previous attempts. However, for players who simply want to guess the answer using hints, these clues might nudge them in the right direction.

When trying to guess today’s Wordle answer, we first used the word ‘SHAVE,’ which revealed the correct position of one letter from the answer being used in today’s Wordle solution. Next, we used the word ‘SHARE,’ which revealed the incorrect position of one more letter. Then, we used the word ‘SPORE,’ which showed the correct position for one more letter for today’s Wordle answer. Next, we used ‘SCORE,’ which showed the correct position of three letters in today’s Wordle answer. Finally, knowing the correct position of four letters from today’s solution, we luckily guessed the word SCOUR for today’s Wordle answer.
