May 16th’s Wordle answer is one of the more difficult to guess since the word is slightly obscure and requires strategic starting words. In addition, due to the nature of the word, sometimes players may not be able to guess the answer in less than six tries due to the limited number of possible solutions. However, contextual hints make it easier for the player to guess the word, especially if they are stuck on their last few tries.
While the vocabulary puzzle game does offer visual clues, it isn’t enough for players to guess the word correctly in the limited number of attempts. Players can try their luck with Wordle’s hard mode as it comes in handy for guessing obscure words such as today’s Wordle answer. Due to the stricter rules, players are forced to guess the answer using letters that have already been discovered in previous attempts. However, for players who simply want to guess the answer using hints, these clues might nudge them in the right direction.

When trying to guess today’s Wordle answer, we first used the word ‘BRAVE,’ which revealed the correct positions of two letters from the answer being used in today’s Wordle solution. Next, we used the word ‘SUAVE,’ which did not yield any positive results. Then, we used the word ‘TROVE,’ which also did not reveal any new letters for today’s Wordle answer. Next, we used ‘HELVE,’ which showed the correct position of four letters in today’s Wordle answer. Finally, knowing the correct position of four letters from today’s solution, we luckily guessed the word DELVE for today’s Wordle answer.
