The answer for February 21 Wordle puzzle could be hard to guess if players are not provided with hints. Wordle is now amongst the most popular vocabulary puzzles being played worldwide. It’s partly because of its simple rules where players have to guess the correct five-letter word in six tries or less. Wordle updates the puzzle with a new word every day, and with each day, the puzzle has been getting harder to solve.
Wordle only gives a few visual cues as hints for players to use for their guesses. For example, the game gives players an indication by changing the color of boxes that contain letters. When a box’s color turns yellow, that means the letter in that box is being used in today’s answer but is not in the correct spot. However, if the box’s color turns green, that means the letter in that particular box is being used in today’s answer and is also in the right spot.
When players are done attempting today’s Wordle puzzle, they can share the results with other players on platforms like Twitter and Facebook. When sharing the results of today's Wordle answer, players should not worry as it does not spoil the answer for other players. The only visual players get to see is the number of attempts and a series of green, black or yellow box emojis showing how close or far a player was from guessing the answer.
Wordle’s February 21, 2022 (#247) Hints
Many players like to get more hints when they face difficulty guessing today’s Wordle answers. Below are a few hints that might point players towards today’s solution if they are stuck. These hints are similar to clues players may have seen in a crossword puzzle and might help them guess today’s Wordle answer:
- Hint 1: A standard option for multiple-choice questions
- Hint 2: Often used as the last check box in forms
- Hint 3: A person or thing different from the one already mentioned or known about.
Wordle 247 Answer (February 21)
If the above hints didn’t help players guess the correct answer, today’s Wordle answer is OTHER. When trying to guess today’s answer, the first word we used was “CATER,” which revealed three letters being used in today’s solution. However, it showed that one letter was not being used in the correct spot. We used the word “HOSTS” for the second attempt, which revealed two more letters being used in the wrong spot as the boxes turned yellow. Finally, in our third attempt, we were able to guess the answer “OTHER” as we knew all of the letters that were being used in today’s Wordle.
