February 6th's Wordle puts players' puzzle-solving powers to the test. Wordle continues to dominate the social media landscape with its short playtime, simple gameplay, and social media sharing function. For many, Wordle provides a nice little distraction for the day, but for those stressed about keeping their year-long streak alive we've got a few hints, and the full answer, to help out.
Wordle is a one-a-day word puzzle game that has players guessing a 5-letter word within 6 chances. Played on a 5x6 grid of boxes, players will need to start with a random word and the game will provide hints by highlighting certain letters green if they are correct, yellow if they are correct but in the wrong spot, or grey if they are not in the word at all. Like the old board game Mastermind, players will need to use this information to adjust their next guess until, eventually, getting the word correct or running out of chances. Normally, players can mix and match any word they would like during the game but Wordle also provides a 'Hard Mode' that can be accessed through the options screen. This mode prevents the players from using letters that have been shown to be incorrect and not allowing different placement of letters shown in green.
The true appeal, and arguably the reason for Wordle being so popular, is the social media sharing ability built into the game. When the daily puzzle is completed, players can copy their attempt and paste it into their favorite social media site. Wordle uses little colored emoji boxes that show the path the player went through to achieve success. This spoiler-free way of showing a player's journey has been filling up social media timelines all year long and continues to add to the game's popularity

Wordle 232 Answer (February 6)
If the hints didn't give it away, the February 6th Wordle answer is SKILL. Today, we used the starting word ROAST, this gave us very little information aside from omitted letters and a misused 'S'. From there, SPINE was used which provided the proper placement of the 'S' as well as the correct location of the 'I'. We followed that up with SHILL, which led quickly to the correct answer.
Wordle continues to be the perfect way to start a morning for many, or a quick little mid-day break. With its sharing feature and one-a-day puzzles, Wordle should continue to entertain for months to come.
