What happened to DeAnna Pappas after The Bachelor and The Bachelorette? The bubbly brunette most recently appeared on Brad Womack's episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons - Ever! However, she's back in the limelight for less lighthearted reasons in 2023.

America met Pappas more than a decade ago on The Bachelor season 11. After Womack shocked Bachelor Nation by sending her and romantic rival Jenni Croft home without a final rose or a proposal, producers decided to give Pappas her shot at finding love as the star of The Bachelorette season 4. Unfortunately, her relationship with finalist and winner Jesse Csincsak fizzled out before the pair could wed. Pappas was eventually introduced to Stephen Stagliano, the brother of Michael Stagliano from season 5 of The Bachelorette. The couple married in October 2011.

DeAnna was smitten with Stephen from the jump. "I knew within two weeks that I wanted to marry him only because I knew I would not be okay if this person was not in my life for the rest of my life," Pappas told E! News. "He's just a good man, and I won't ever leave him. I won't because no one is as good as him." Pappas went on to explain to Good Morning America that she harbors no ill will towards Womack for the fickle ending of his season. She even joked that she probably should have done the same thing he did and not choose a winner on her season.

DeAnna and Stephen Separated In 2023

After giving birth to two children, Addison in 2014 and Austin in 2016, Stephen and DeAnna separated in 2023. According to a since-deleted Instagram post, DeAnna wrote, "It is with immense sadness Stephen & I have decided to end our relationship as a couple. We have been working hard for a long time - both as a married couple & as individuals - & have come to the conclusion to remain separate." The couple has chosen to keep their affairs private.

Aside from her romantic life, Pappas has also experienced several changes professionally. She was once in real estate but shifted her focus to working in television full-time. She was a host on Lifetime's Get Married and featured on an episode of Oxygen’s Bachelorette Party. Pappas also interviewed Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey on the red carpet of the Ghost of Girlfriends Past premiere in 2009 and received a bit of praise from him due to her ability to juggle 24 guys at once.

Pappas has earned a pretty penny doing celebrity endorsements for several companies, but her primary profession is working as a corporate flight attendant. One passion project is a web series called Moms in Cars, in which she and her friends swap parenting stories from the backseat of the car they're traveling in. In her spare time, she unwinds with her fellow Bachelorettes. She lovingly refers to them as her "girl gang" and spends a reasonable amount of time supporting everyone's causes and their following chapters.

While DeAnna's time on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette may have resulted in heartbreak and disappointment, she bounced back significantly with her husband, Stephen Stagliano. Unfortunately, after 11 years, that happiness has now eroded. However, she has a lot of positive energy around her with her career and kids. Hopefully, DeAnna can bounce back once again.
