Dallas resident and polarizing Perfect Match celeb Bartise Bowden has had quite a year, and it's time to discuss what happened to him after he filmed the series. Following appearances on Love Is Blind season 3 and Perfect Match season 1, both of which happened within the span of a few months, he is capitalizing on his newfound fame. Despite a dismal run on Perfect Match, and a shocking ditch at the altar on Love Is Blind, Bartise is up to new antics online. Many people wish he would just disappear; while others enjoy watching his pot-stirring personality.

In the pods, during Love Is Blind season 3, Bartise, a 27-year-old senior analyst from Dallas, Texas, pursued Raven Ross (who broke up with SK post-cheating scandal), and Nancy Rodriguez. The future Perfect Match season 1 star ultimately proposed to Nancy, but after shocking commentary about her body and various other red flags, he left her at the altar. Despite this betrayal, Nancy alleged that she and Bartise continued to try and forge a friendship, and were in contact with each other. As of March 2023, Nancy has cut off contact with Bartise.

Perfect Match Star Bartise Scrambles To Maintain Reality TV Fame

According to his Bartise Instagram, he is attempting to profit from whatever fame he has accumulated on OnlyFans and FanBasis. In his OnlyFans advertising clip, he boasts, “life right now is good, I’m still working, still got my career, single, dating, but I’m not looking for anything serious.” Fans were in disbelief, and showed their outrage in the comments section.

He advocated for mental health care on Love Is Blind, possibly to distract from his manipulative behavior. One commenter posted, “So if you are not looking for anything serious why does he keep appearing on these shows where he is looking for something serious lol.” Another said, “You have a masters degree in gaslighting and manipulation.” Clearly, viewers are not fans of his behavior.

Perfect Match Alum Bartise Teases Himself On Instagram

In addition to monetizing his exhausting personality, Bartise posts videos teasing himself, and acknowledging the online haters. This man is painfully aware that Love Is Blind viewers don’t like him. In a recent video promoting the Love Is Blind: After The Altar episodes and Perfect Match, the self-confident Bartise begins by cheerfully greeting his fans. In the comments, one Instagram user responded by saying, “you have fans?” Another bluntly stated, “no one is a fan.” Astutely, another fan commented, “desperation and arrogance are not a good combination.” This sentiment seems to sum up the entirety of Bartise’s run on Netflix reality TV, and fans think Bartise is a manipulator.

Importantly, Love Is Blind season 3 was filmed in the summer of 2021. After filming wrapped, Nancy alleged that she and Bartise tried to remain friends, but have since cut off contact. Unlike Shayne and Natalie, who were together when Shayne applied for Perfect Match, Bartise and Nancy were separated by then.

Perfect Match was filmed in the beautiful jungles of Panama in March 2022, months after filming for Love Is Blind wrapped. This happened before the reunion filmed, which occurred in summer 2022, despite episodes being released on February 10. Although Bartise is a largely unlikeable character, there was no overlap between Nancy and appearing on Perfect Match, However, the shows were released around the same time.

In addition to scorning Nancy on Love Is Blind, Bartise’s run on Perfect Match solidified his poor standing among Netflix reality TV fans. Most notably, Bartise’s interaction with The Circle: France’s Ines Tazi, as she broke things off with him, was indicative of an incredibly arrogant man. He definitely had a lot of growing up to do. In the chilling interaction, Bartise was visibly furious, and claimed that he, “picked [Ines] up from nothing.” They had known each other for maybe a couple of days. His arrogance, bordering on narcissism, was shocking.

After his well-deserved fall from grace, driven by two reality TV appearances that painted him in a bad light, Bartise spends his time trying to stay famous. Between charging $200 for a video chat on OnlyFans, and promoting a new ride-share app on his Instagram, it’s clear that he is willing to do whatever it takes to remain in the spotlight, even if Bartise is labeled a villain.

Thankfully, Nancy has moved on, and has cut off contact with this walking red flag. He didn’t maintain any meaningful relationships with Perfect Match cast members. Hopefully, Netflix reality TV fans won’t need to see this man’s face flash across their screens again. Right now, he remains sequestered, except to Instagram followers and OnlyFans subscribers.
