HBO sci-fi drama Westworld season 4 sees the core cast return while adding an array of new characters. Since its inception in 2016, Westworld has featured a star-studded lineup of actors in its mysterious futuristic narrative from Tessa Thompson to Ed Harris. The majority of Westworld's main characters from season 1 promise to remain at the heart of the story in the HBO series' fourth season, while the impact of Westworld's newly-introduced personas remains to be seen.

Beginning in the year 2052, Westworld's intriguing story centers on an American West-themed park designed for adults to explore and indulge their every desire. The park's main attraction lies in its "hosts," who are incredibly lifelike robots meant to interact with Westworld's visitors as if they were humans as well. Westworld's first three seasons primarily focused on the relationship between artificial AI and human consciousness, while detailing different levels of human-led organizations in charge of managing the hosts.
